The lounge, which is accessible to players with TL3, originally only had MVP posts in it and a lot was removed when the first wave of TL3 came in. Not sure if it was originally MvP only or if they just had access because they are TL4 automatically or whatever, but I’m sure they have a corner somewhere.
never said that, forums have too much noise.
I’m just saying that the forums were never listened to, and that having a more direct line of communication for people that have a better feedback track record is a good thing.
I don’t see how the tweets invalidate this plausible deniability.
He meant the private forums.
With how toxic it can get around here, can’t say I blame them.
No he didn’t. He was very specific he was referring to these forums.
I like posting on forums, doofus
Plausible deniability is gone because they can no longer blame “most feedback from the community unconstructive and toxic” when they themselves developed a direct line to quality feedback by hand-picking some of the most qualified in the warcraft community. These are theorycrafters putting in hours testing everything. These aren’t random dad gamers, casuals, and LFR heroes leaving feedback because they got ganked by a rogue.
I know it was a joke
. However, if Ion didn’t specifically state that he reads the forums, and he has never even had a presence on here for several years now. It’s hard to believe what an ex-community manager has to say about him.
Interesting. I learn new things everyday
They have a private forum with hand-picked testers, a lot of them theorycrafters that spend hours on the class guides everyone uses. They’re not toxic casuals that rage with unconstructive feedback. It’s not the general public forum we’re using here, otherwise you’d be right.
Well he has never had a large forum presence, but after the way we treated Ghostcrawler, I am not surprised.
They’ve never pretended to care about GD.
Considering GD, I can’t blame them.
I feel offended. Ok, not really.
I am offended that you are not really offended.
