I have gotten 3 scorpion mounts and still have yet to see his shoulders drop… how is it that much more rare than the mount?

He can tell you never had the strength of a true warchief, hence why you don’t get the shoulders

Some drops are just cursed. I had Thori’dal (the star’s fury) months before I managed to get the spear to drop from the sunfury soldiers at the start of Sunwell (one of my big wants for SV hunter when they announced melee, I think I only got it around the time Nighthold dropped).

Yes, the shoulders have a lower droprate than the mount.
Maybe next time Pandaria remix comes around you can get them from that.

What I wish was the drop rates on stuff werent so absurdly low…but more that to get some cooler things you had to do the M+ thing or mythic raiding, etc…or maybe even some harder solo thing like the Mage Tower.
make the drop rates high…but the work required a bit more stiff.
Then if players know they have a good chance of getting something, even if its hard to do, they’ll be more likely to try.
combining both ‘hard’ content and .001% drop rates or whatever just tells me not to even bother with it.
They need the drop rate changed to how it used to be for WOLTK.
The garrosh shoulders were put into the game in MoP, not WoTLK.
I got them in 7 attempts.
…Like back in BFA days as mag’har heritage armor was coming out. I really didnt appreciate how lucky I was and how insane I was for even trying to start the grind as the armor was grtting ready to release.
Also are tusks actually buffed for this event?
I have one shoulders and no mount.
To be fair, discounting WoD and SL and alternate universes, we only have one Garrosh, and he only has one set of shoulders… so yeah, they’re kinda hard to find… there’s only one set on a single Orc afterall…

I got them years ago. 120 kills. Six plate wearers across 10 weeks of farming, H and M every weekend. Was literally my last kill of the week when they dropped.
Dunno how much the bounty this month will affect that.
I got the mount in the process.
thankfully they’d look terrible on my undead so i’m ok with not having them since it means not dealing with the WONKY AS HECK dragon/tower part.
i didn’t think blizz could possibly make that worse but they found a way. i could kill that dragon really easily but no, make me deal with the horrid buggy cannons…
I know that but I am saying the rates at which things dropped in WOTLK were better and not taking years to get
I spent a while farming them right before Mop Remix was announced. Then, in Mop Remix I was blessed with the knowledge my time was spent in vain because you could get them from that event. 
You now have a Forsaken with surgically replaced Orc shoulders instead of human shoulders
Got them practically for free on MOP Remix, which was awesome.

just got in to my DK after not having played it in months , I got Gary’s shoulders from remix.
Way back when I decided to farm sunwell on my hunter I got thori’dal on my first ever run. I continued to run that place every week for six months though because the freakin gloves for the hunter set just would not drop. I got a second thori’dal before I got those gloves!
