I say screw the factions and make all the hate racial based - like in EQ.
If I wanna be an “evil” human, I can worship Innoruuk and will be accepted in the dark elves home of Neriak.
If I kill enough lizard men, I “Might” just be able to go into Oggok with the ogres.
If I want my troll to walk in the tree city of Telethon with the elves, I just kill enough Crushbone orcs.
Have this war against NPCs and let the players do whatever they want. Keep any PvP in warmode and away from the majority of players.
DAoC proved this whole faction thing really isn’t strong enough to keep a game alive. WoW is popular DESPITE the faction system.
BTW - I want my original Horde back. Thrall’s Horde. When the Horde were the good guys and the Alliance was evil.

Agreed. I always wanted to be factionless as well tbh. being 3rd party is awesome.
Cross faction will make that more of a reality.

Garrosh was a great leader and fair too. There’s a quest line where one of his top guys kills a bunch of cenarions. He picks the guy up by his neck and throws him off a cliff.

Thrall’s horde were always the good guys. Garrosh did not fit in. However, I support fully for people to be evil or bad, thus there should be multiple factions good/evil/neutral that does not have race/faction restrictions.

Despite Blizzard saying otherwise, I feel like recent history makes this claim dubious.
The horde is mostly comprised of blood elves and their purse pup vulperas. Your train left the station years ago. It’s time for the horde to be unapologetic and fabulous thrift shoppers.

While Blizzard keeps trying to make us look like good guys and blames a faction leader for our crimes, we can continue committing war crimes with impunity.
This is Warcraft, the bad guys have never won, not for long anyway.

That would kill Horde’s lore, Atheism fit Alliance more. Horde is all about worshipping earthmother, Loas, and fallen ancestors.
You take that away you got soy drinking Alliance.
I am tired of hearing this garrosh did nothing wrong, he did plenty wrong, stop trying to downplay it.
Yes he had things working against him but those just served to cement his fall even further.
In the end he devolved into an orc supremacist that only saw goblins as tools and much worse.
He is even stonch hypocrite who hating on dark magic and then embracing the heart of an old god.
He did absolutely plenty wrong.
I’m afraid not anymore. Chromietime puts lowbies in a separate shard in War Mode. Say you’re one of those Rogues… you have no more prey to hunt

I never actually bothered hunting lowbies on a Rogue.
I did launch punitive raids into Westfall back in the day on my Shaman.
