As long as a Soul feels Pride they have Anima.
Of course if they lack the desire to repent yet also lack the actual Negative Emotions the Anima draining will take everything including Memories(which are Anima just as Sin are) leaving the Soul an empty shell to be tossed into the Maw.
We all know that the Mawsworn destroy Souls for Stygia. Stygia is pretty much the Anima left over from destroying an empty Soul violently. The last bursts of Hatred and Despair from a Soul drained of Memory Anima.
Unbreakable Pride staves off a Soul’s being drained of all Anima to say the least.
The Shadowlands honestly need Realms for feelings of Pain, Sorrow, Fear and Madness so that it can get fuel even in the event of a Soul Drought.
The Maw already fuels itself on Despair and Hatred so why can’t other Death Realms be established to generate eternal Pain, Fear, Madness and Agonized Sorrow?
The Maw should be left for the Unrepentant Souls of low enough Emotion that their Anima draining in Revendreth strips them of Memory!
The Souls that are Unrepentant yet are an infinite fuel for Sin Anima should go to places resembling the Domains of Pain, Fear and Anguish(along with the Depths of Madness) in GW: Nightfall’s Realm of Torment!

I suspect given the way the rest of the short portrays what he’s saying as a load of crap that Garrosh isn’t being redeemed at all. They’re just milking the cowrosh.
