Garrosh Hellscream in Dragonflight

So when do you think Garrosh will make his return in dragonflight?

I know blizzard will hold onto it and not have it at launch to draw more people in later on, but I assume it’ll probably happen in the 2nd raid tier where he will show up and save us from whatever big evil we’re fighting again

Garrosh is a poof of red dust. Gone. He obliterated his own soul.

Edit: Oh, it’s you, Malg. Nevermind. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I think at one point someone or something said that when the souls in Shadowlands were killed they went to oblivion.

So what do you bet some day we will have an Oblivion release where we will all go and find old friends and fight old foes.

Olord.

According to the Uldaman Dungeon in Dragonflight the Timelines are converging so Garrosh will be back.

All our Enemies will be back.

Evil Sylvanas might be back as well and need killing by Forsaken alongside Death Knight Arthas and the Scarlet Crusade Leader at Lordaeron.

Evil Sylvanas can also pop up at Orgrimmar so that problem must be accounted for as well.

Technically for Eastern Kingdoms we have 3 threats at Undercity(Evil Sylvanas, Death Knight Arthas and the Scarlet Crusade Leader), 2 threats at Dalaran(Sinestra and Garithos), 5 threats at Stormwind(Alleria after consuming N’Zoth, Onyxia, Gul’dan and whoever Garrosh put in charge of Stormwind), 4 threats at Blackrock Spire(Emperor Thassarian/Ragnaros, Blackhand, Rend Blackhand, Nefarian & Doomhammer), 3 threats at Grim Batol(Sinestra with Cho’Gall, Dargonax and Modgud Thassarian) and 2 threats at Quel’Thalas(Dar’Khan Drathir and Kael’thas).

For Kalimdor we have 2 threats at Orgrimmar(Garrosh and Evil Sylvanas), 1 threat at a newly restored Proudmoore Castle at Tidefury Cove in Dustwallow Marsh(obviously Admiral Proudmoore), 1 threat at Thunder Bluff(Magatha Grimtotem), 1 threat at Teldrassil(Xavius’s Branch), 1 threat at Azshara(Xavius himself) and 1 threat at Ahn’Qiraj(C’Thun).

For Northrend we have 5 threats(Frost Troll Empire, Lich King, Yogg-Saron, Galakrond whom we might kill in Dragonflight and Malygos) all of which have their own bases of operations.

For Pandaria we have 3 threats: Grand Empress Shek’zeer, Grand Empress Shek’zara and Emperor Lei Shen.

For Zandalar we have 4 allied threats: Zul, Zul’s apprentice, Eternal Emperor Korthek and G’huun.

For Kul’Tiras we have 2 allied threats in Lady Ashvane and Lord Stormsong plus one opposing threat in Lady Waycrest.

For Broken Isles it is fortunate that one of the Elisandes watching the Timeways decided to throw her lot in with us as that means she is a good guy helping us fight off Xavius in Val’Sharah.

Ok so Evil Sylvanas is a threat but what about Good Sylvanas?
And at any point in time, which one are you seeing?

Good Sylvanas(whichever the incarnation) has Blue Eyes. Evil Sylvanas has Red Eyes.

Sylvanas’s Short Story is Edge of Night.

Kill 3 Evil Sylvanases(which will send them into oblivion within Good Sylvanas’s Soul as per the words of Danuser) and the Pre-Patch of the Expansion after Dragonflight ends and Azeroth reveals her true face when the Timelines converge.

“The fall of night reveals her true face. She will bring only ruin.” - N’Zoth(Uu’nat Encounter)

“Night falls! Her song will end!” - Barrowknoll Cemetery Whispers

“At the hour of her third death she will usher in our coming.” - Il’gynoth(Emerald Nightmare)

Garrosh and the Jailer planned Garrosh’s “death” but in reality Garrosh escaped in the encounter in SoD. So now, Garrosh is free to enact the Jailer’s true master plan because the Jailer planning his own death was also just a minor part of Zoval’s master plan.

Honestly thats pretty on par with shadowlands writing

That’s one Garrosh yes… But what about second Garrosh?

WoD was a jebait. Garrosh actually went back in time to before the Dragon Isles were sealed off and before the empowerment of the aspects to STOP the empowerment of the aspects. He slew Neltharion and stole his empowerment. The endboss of Dragonflight will, in fact, be Garewing.

If i never see another Garrosh or Thrall focused story again it’ll be too soon. Actually scratch that, any orc based content, I’m well and truly over it.

Garrosh is making a brief appearance where his sparkly ashes are sprinkled from a mountain top by a Tauren Shaman.

Ashes to ashes, dust to dust :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

You could bring him back to life if you had a good story to tell with him. The question is: what would that be? It seems like his arc concluded pretty well. Maybe you could bring him back and give him a redemption arc like with Illidan, but it isn’t something we need.

The only character I’d like to see them do that to is Arthas. Give him a less, well, dumb ending.
