Garrosh had a better redemption then slyvanas

He actually died redeeming himself with his final words For the Horde. Ironically he died actually doing something heroic killing that raid boss.

Garrosh didn’t have a redemption. He didn’t need one.

Cool story. You also forgot a period btw.

I would argue he didn’t even have a redemption, nor was he… looking for one.

Garrosh was, if nothing else, the most consistent character in the franchise to have that much screen time. And honestly? I find him a breath of fresh air because of it.

Garrosh was a villain. But he was also a Villain without any outs, excuses, or subversions. No one magically magiced him evil, no one corrupted him, no one made him do what he did. He did what he did because that was who he was. In a franchise drowning in corruptions and possessions and “th’ DEVUL made me do it!!!” excuses, up to and including an entire faction that comprises half the player base, Garrosh Hellscream’s unapologetic brand of hyper-jingoist villainy is… refreshing.

It’s not a thematic sentence, therefore doesn’t require one. Btw

Great story bro thank you for a English lesson on forum for a video game.

Unironically the greatest moment in this expansion, and it wasn’t even planned - fans just pushed so hard for it that it made its way into the game.

You are welcome! :two_hearts:

It was one developer that actually pushed for it. Really sad to be honest.

There’s just something about villains that basically go “AND ID DO IT AGAIN”

Yeah Garrosh regretted nothing and would do it again.

He is like Illidain, unapologetic for their actions because they truly believed they were correct.

I’d argue that Sylvanas didn’t really have a redemption either. She acknowledges that she deserves justice for her crimes, and gets that justice served. Nobody forgives her for anything, they just let her help undo a couple of her mistakes before her sentencing.

redemption? neither garrosh nor sylvanas did anything wrong. ( if the current writting team had no say sylvanas’s wouldnt be so retconned same with garrosh) if you played wow since warcraft 3 you would realize the writting changed the characters and not just sylvanas or garrosh. its so blatantly obvious its also like they forgot in in cata sylvanas was already raising humans into forsaken and in the bfa questline baine is like OH NO sylvanas is raising our enemies into undeath this is so unlike her she tottally never did this ever.
here is just one example.

fact is they did not AT ALL look at existing story they ignored all of warcraft 3 to legion and in bfa they started acting like the games past story didnt even happen giving reactions to sylvanas from characters who lorewise would not at all be bothered they blatantly went out of their way to retcon lore that is in game already all because they wanted her to be a villain because the alliance bias writting team wanted to kill her off because they didnt like her past actions. frankly metzen needs to come back everything in bfa needs retconned. everyone i know whos into the lore has seen outright retcons and character reactions and behaviors that are entirely out of character and now most of the players who played wow for the story left alot of raiders left pvpers whats left is almost no one and alliance.

Such a contrast between Zovaal weeping like a baby and Garrosh going out like a boss.

There are clearly writers there who “get” WoW but Danuser is not among them.
