So I want to “power level” my garrison up and need more resources. I’ve been farming elites/rares and finding treasures for resources. What other ways are good to get resources other than using the lumber mill? Thank you for the tips and help my pals.
PS: Are there any garrison addons that show work order times / missions or things that are more accurate than the UI? I keep putting in work orders for the lumber mill but it’s not showing me times on when it is done, how many remain or anything that I can find.
You can buy (and sell) garrison resources from the auction house.

Did not know this was a thing. I might take a look then. I presume you mean the regular AH in Org / SW and it just cost gold?

Do you know what sub category it’s under to search easier? Or is the huge Ogre cache the only one?
Well they’re wanting 4-5k+ for them on my AH. So guess I need other tips and advice at this rate. x.x
get the salvage yard also, you get resources from the salvaged goods you earn from follower missions.

Please refresh my memory. What do you mean “follower missions”? Do you mean the war table for missions / quests. Been a bit since I’ve done WoD so my ol’ Dwarven memory is a bit hazy.
ya the war table you send followers on missions, you get salvaged goods from them if you have the salvage yard, level 1 salvage yard not great tho , need lvl 2 or 3
Alright I’ll work my way up to it then. Guess I’ll just have to wait and afk farm the resources. I think they max out every 3 days or so if I recall early on. >.<
Go kill the 3 rare Elite nods in nagrand in WoD. They are located near highmaul, but are outside of the raid.
Equip your followers with the resource gatherer item. Fastest way is to kill those elites everyday in highmaul.
Think you can get them from the Trade Post too but I can’t remember for sure…
Have you recovered the treasures scattered all over? Many resources there.
Garrison Invasions pay off with resources, in part.
Garrison Missions pay off with resources.
Ore, Fish, and Herbs can be traded for resources.
Have you caught the dog burying resources?
Have you found the resources in the underwater cave yet?

Not sure what invasions you are referring to? The table where you choose solo or group mission every day?
Doing missions but no resource ones hardly yet.
Not enough building spots to get the trader yet.

No I have not where is the underwater cave at or do you mean the one that’s close to your base you put the fishing spot at?
Buy the huge ogre cache if you have the gold.
Otherwise loot all the treasures and kill all rares for resources. Also establish your salvage hut and upgrade it all the way to get resources from missions. Also use the inn to get followers with the extreme resources trait and send them on missions that aware resources.
As to addons, the addon Master Plan is pretty good for garrison stuff. I’ve been using it for years and it has tons of stuff from showing how long until your free resources box is full to showing how long until work orders are complete, follower stuff, helping with missions. It pretty much automates missions.

The plans for the salvage yard are gained by doing the Pinchwhistle quest chain, down at the bottom of Spires of Arak. It may not have come up for you yet, but when you’re exalted with the arrakoa, you can buy a token that doubles your stash size to hold up to 1k resources.

The trade post (level 2 iirc) allows you to trade WoD materials for garrison resources, and WoD materials are very cheap. Don´t try buying resource boxes directly from the AH, they´re usually very expensive.
