Garrison mats normalized?

The trader inside of the Garrison sells all of the WoD mats for Resources.

Up until this week, it fluctuated daily from 16 to 32 Resources per item. The trick was you’d load up on Resources and then keep checking it… and once the item you wanted fell on a “16” day, you cash in all your Resources across all your alts.

I haven’t heard anything about this, and stealth-nerfing something from two xpacs ago is a weird move, but all this week, EVERYTHING has been 24 Resources per mat. It hasn’t changed in 6 days.

Did they announce this and I missed it? The meme is “fun detected, fun removed” but this is such a weird thing to change. Seriously, Blizzard… why do this???

I haven’t been looking at my garrisons lately. I know traders can repeat from day to day, and I know there was at least one trader who did 24 for everything; is it possible you’re just getting him several days in a row? Or are you seeing other traders also do 24 instead of what they used to do?

I wouldn’t know if it is been nerfed or not.

But I’ve not seen the trader… actually change in a week now.

I had the 16 Ore Trader Friday or Saturday ,back to the 24 one though since.

Saturday it was the fur trader, but it has seemed to be the “all 24” guys or the fish/meat gobbos a lot more in recent days.

No no… I’m not talking about the random guy INSIDE your main Garrison “Headquarters.”

I’m talking about the trading outpost that takes up a Garrison Building Plot, that sells EVERY mat from ALL of WoD at one time.

The Trading Post was NEVER … not in the 5+ years I’ve been hitting it… NEVER been the same even two days in a row.

It’s now been the same SIX days in a row. Either this was the most ridiculous stealth nerf I’ve heard about in the history of this game, or it broke.

And I meant the guy that sells furs for 16 resources in the trade post. They have been swapping out, but the worthwhile ones seem to be fewer between now. I’m glutted on resources waiting to buy beast hides. :rage:

Yeah, I’ve had the same draenei guy at my trading post for at least five days.

If they didn’t nerf it they did now thanks to your post.

I’m talking about (in the Horde Garrison/Trading Post): Tai’tasi.

She sells all of the WoD mats for Resources. And while the prices should change every day, they haven’t all week.

Yeah.

I have like 8 Alts at level 110 who never leave their Garrisons and just pump Hexweave Bags.

I look out for the Fur Trader. She was there over the weekend.

But you are right - the 24 resources for all trader at the trading posts has been there very often lately. Seems like 5 days out of the past week.

Just to compare notes, farming the cloth and the plants is easy, how are you farming all your Sorcerous Earth?

I buy when its cheap on the AH.

Sometimes people sell them for 2 or 3 gold each, and that still is profitable, so I buy alot. When they are 15 gold each… I will just wait.

Garrison missions for the Primals and then buying them at the Primal Vendor gets me some too.

Thanks for sharing. I’ll tell you mine.

Since you have an army of alts, at least 2-3 of them should have a follower with an Herbalist-skill in your Garden. Always grow Frostweed.

I have 2 alts that are Alchem, Xmute spec. Mail all the Frostweed to them. Keep running work orders in your Alchem station. Each work order gets you 1-4 Sorcerous Water or Fire. It doesn’t matter which, they’re both easily converted to Earth.

And not only that, because they’re Xmute spec, after a week you should have 40+ Fire/Water that should easily proc into 50+ Earth.

edit to add: I was doing various things to get Primals and then use the Primals to buy Earth… but this method is SOOOOO much better.

Easily keeps up with the cloth/herb income rate. And I have ZERO out of pocket expense.

I dont farm a damn thing outside the Garrison.

My herb gardens are set to Gorgrond Flytrap, so thats never a problem. I buy Fur with Garrison resources.

Primal Earths at the Primal Vendor or AH if they are cheap.

I am sure there are more profitable ways, but I try not to spend too much time on too many Alts. Thats why most have been retired and are basically just Hexweave sweatshop workers.
