Gaming mouse software question

I i got the new wow mouse(the one that comes with the lil flameo pet). ive been using a 2012 naga razor, the one with the size adjustment.(i’m a girl, i have small hands).
I never used the software for the naga, i just mapped everything in wow. with the new mouse, i HAVE to use the software to map the buttons as my old mouse used the keypad numbers and the new one defaults to the 1-7 on the top of the keyboard. I have no plans to make use of any of the extra features, but just glancing at the many many options, has me worried, some of these features definitely seem like they would be against TOS for WoW.
Will using the steelseries engine software for my new mouse cause me any issues?
I am only mapping buttons to the side buttons, just the keypad 1-9, 0, 11 being M, and = is auto run toggle. No macros, no multiple clicks or any sequencing ect. but the fact the software CAN do all this extra stuff, will that be an issue?

If my naga worked better i would never have gotten a new mouse, but the last 5 years ive been dealing with it double clicking, tracking issues, unable to click-drag anything.

Just use it for the intended purposes and you should be fine. The mouse exists to cater to other buyers… “outside” of the Retail environment.
