Hi there,
Is there a cap regarding gametime (not subscription? I know subscription is 6 months, but is the same for gametime? Like can I have more than 6months gametime?
Hi there,

Are you asking about the 30 day time cards?
I’d assume you’d be able to enter in as many as you have at one time.
when you add paid time (either one time payment or subscription) it starts at the end of your current paid time and changes the date that it ends , I once put a years worth of time on (annual pass as didn’t want my credit card charged) at the same time and then didn’t have to pay again for a year.
Find out for us. Keep adding time until blizzard stops you, or you run out of money and then report back.
Yeah I was thinking about the gametime cards, I’ll just add as many and see what happens
I know you’re being silly, but I’m curious about this from both an experimental point of view and a legal one. What if you had 100 years sub time and they were shutting down WoW? Would they just say “tough luck”, refund you or something else?
I have to imagine its something benign, but its funny to imagine Blizz impatiently waiting by the server to shut it off 100 years from now.
Lol. Long gone and forgotten, it just becomes an old tale passed down through several generations, waiting for the right time to throw the switch.
There is a rolling cap on the number of tokens you can obtain and subsequently use for game time. No known cap on cash purchases of game time.
If wow had plans for termination, I imagine they would stop selling tokens far enough in advance to eat up the token cap and refund cash purchases,
Can confirm. When I was a kid my mom refused to let me use her credit card, so when I’d get a decent chunk of money I’d buy 3-6 months of wow time at once from walmart or ebgames or something, put them all on at once and then they would just add to your sub time. Although this was over 10 years ago, I can’t see why blizzard wouldn’t want take as much of your money as possible, and if it just ripped people off there would be a lot more noticeable backlash
I can confirm there is no 6 months cap on gametime with redeem codes. It goes beyond the 6 months subscription cap. Like for example right now I have close to 7 months
I know there is a Cap on the money you can charge to your battlenet (at least for my country), but for time, i think that reached to 7 months with no problem.
