As it stands now the last winning game on each layer determines which side will receive the buff, meaning you can win a game, but will lose it as soon as a game is lost on your layer. This means it is extremely hard to access vendors as even if you manage to win it does not matter. As horde vastly outnumbers alliance, they have a much higher chance to win as the last game of the half an hour bracket will usually have more horde than alliance players
Exact same thing happening here on Arugal. Alliance are unable to access Wintergrasp and when the buff is active it’s only for a short period of time, 20-30 seconds.
I know others have commented saying that this is a layered/cross server thing but even the NPCs near Wintergrasp are bugged out and duplicated.
bump, this has been a problem since launch and blizz hasent acknowledged it. its causing havoc for guilds and players looking to PUG voa for set items.
Alliance have the buff and horde have no buff on OCE battlegroup which is strongly horde favored making it borderline impossible for horde to not get a single win across an entire 30 minute queueing window

it’s not bugged its poor blizzard delivery yet again. if 4 layers have wintergrasp it’s the last layer to win that determines the overall winner. so if your layer wins 15min before the last layers loses you have the buff for 15mins.
I’m no game designer, but doesn’t that by game design give defenders a massive advantage? I mean Defending games winning in 30 minutes. so likely to be the last closing game was a defender win.
Attackers pretty much have to win EVERY SINGLE wintersgrasp to take it? Which intern is running the show. systems 101 design fail.
Dude, screw off already. It is bugged, US and EU are giving control to both factions.
We can bandaid fix this somewhat by queing right at the end of WG but we risk missing a WG match and most of the time we just get lobbed into a match with 2 minutes remaining.
US and EU are getting control on both factions because they have a much higher population, resulting in multiple games running after the queue lockout that are winnable for both factions.
It’s all very simply, despite its poor implementation.
