I deleted and unistalled through the Battlenet app Wow Classic and WoW live, I bought Dragonflight $89.00 version with the 30 day gametime and I go to download the game again. It give me this stuck on initializing loop at 2145581 or something like that and sits on 0% downloaded. Ive followed all the steps ive ran as an admin, ive deleted all cache folders etc. ive force stopped it and re downloaded battle net. Ive even tried installing WoW directly from the link which updates the Battlenet app first. I am getting nowhere and its not working at all. I see lots of people with this problem? any fixes yet?

Fixed mine by changing internet connection to my phone hotspot. Started straight away. Seems ridiculous but it is now working.
Restarting my router worked for me
I am also having this exact issue. Spent hours last night trying to get it to download. Nothing has worked. Please let me know if you got it working.

Hey guys. I had this same issue. I fixed it by switching the Battle.net client to the Beta version. (You can do this in settings.)

Howdy!
Generally, this is a sign of a connection issue between the PC and our CDN servers, in some cases, it can also be caused by a block(Anti-virus/firewall/router settings) or battle.net cache issue. This is why power cycling(refreshed the connection) or switching to the beta(Downloaded new cache files) worked for some. Same, I’ve tried every single troubleshooting advice I could find here and nothing works. I’ve been trying to get back to WoW for a few weeks now but no luck at all.
Having the exact same problem. Formated the whole drive, reinstalled, still in the “Initializing (1245571/1245571)…” loop at 0% goes over and over and over.
I’m starting to think this issue is Blizzard’s servers are not able to handle all the download requests.
I too purchased the game and renewed my subscription, spending over $200 just to join the loop error. Probably going to request a full refund soon if I can’t play the game I paid for.
Yes i have the same issue i thought it will download after that initializing thing i wake up in the morning and still at initializing and i cant find any solution any one find or fixed that problem please tell us how to fix it
