Game will not load initial screen, but can hear the music on my Mac

Is your screen black? I have done everything suggested in other forums on other sites, and nothing is fixing it (clear caches, update drivers, etc). I am currently running the scan and repair thing, and I hope that solves this issue. I am also using an imac

My screen is black, it locks me out of all controls and I can hear the music and my mouse icon is the gauntlet. What is being done about this? Is there a fix?

SET GxCompatOptionalGpuFeatures “0”

worked for me. I found it easier to open TextEdit and then navigate to the WTF config file
and it worked like a charm

Both I and another friend on a Mac are having this problem as well.

Thanks, the SET command also worked for me as well. Was black screen before it,.then pasted the command ,…and it now opens up. Thank you!

Holy Crap Batman, this worked. Well, so far anyway. I no longer have the “black screen of annoyance” with its taunting gauntlet. Time to see if it’s playable.

This is the same issue i’ve been experiencing since Tuesday, i use an Imac, and when i launch the game from the Battle.net app i get the black screen. I’ve read these fix suggestions in the previous messages but i have no idea where to start with these fix suggestions since i am not so savvy with that sort of thing. Will there be a fix on Blizz’s end to solve this?

They will have to have a fix or loose alot of Mac users

I upgraded to Sequoia on mac and still isnt working, blizz gonna loose alot of business if they dont put a fix out there
