I tried making a ticket in-game but i was told the issue is not one and I have game time? (I know I can check the thing myself lol) This has been happening on and off since 8/5/20. I had the original screen shot and just took another one now as it’s still occurring. The message reads "Active game time is required in order to Play World of Warcraft Classic (WOW51900331) appears each time after logging into the game server appears, then disconnects me, generally I would logout and close battle.net app. Reload it and re-login and it would fix it. This however is not working.. I have had paypal as my payment method for over 10 years. Nothing has changed at all so I am at a loss…
I am quite frustrated as I have heard from a number of guildies have this issue how there is nothing posted about it. Hopefully this can be resolved.
Ok upon a bit more searching while sobre I have found another post who didn’t include the error code but had the exact same issue. Eerily similar to myself they stated it began on the 8/5/20 same day I noticed it. This does appear to be an issue, albeit minor. We’re still being denied the ability to play a game - We are paying for! Would be nice to at least be acknowledged as an issue, considering it does give an error code you would have thought it not be that hard to investigate a little bit.
I figured out whats happening here. If you have two or more account names that appear at the battlenet screen, starting the client will frequently switch the account name. If you make sure its using the correct account it will log you in correctly.
