I’m sorry, I wasn’t sure where to post this, so I posted it in two categories, I’ll delete the one that is in the wrong place, or both and repost in the correct place. 
I have a suggestion (request), for bag/bank item organization and item tooltip information.
With so many items that are specific to one game expansion, it’s hard to keep up with where they all go. We already have a fantastic way of organizing our bags; being able to sort bags with a few categories and being able to ignore bags, so the bones of this idea are already in the game. I have a few ideas that I think would help players spend less time trying to organize their bags and bank, and spend less time trying to figure out where some items came from, what they are for, and if we need to keep them.
As players, we spend too much time organizing bags, researching items that we have no idea what they are, where they came from, if they are useful, or if they can be deleted. We should be spending a 1/4 of the time at the bank than we do. My suggestion is to build on to the bones that are already in the game. Our bags have the ability to sort a few categories, can we add categories for items from specific expansions?
And would it be possible to add larger bags, or more bag slots, to our bank or to what we can carry, even if we have to earn them through an achievement… but it has to be a fair achievement that can be reached by any level character, maybe tied into the profession achievements?
I come across so much stuff that I have no idea what it’s for or where it came from, so it just sits in my bags until I have a chance to go chase down information on it, better tooltips on items would be awesome!!! I would rather be playing the game than spending all day searching wowhead to find out where this odd fish that is soul bound to me came from, and I’m sure you would rather us in the game playing as well? More tooltip information items that are useful would also help soo much!! Information such as what expansion it came from, Reputation notes, or other appropriate item notes that expands on what the item is. I’m not asking for a full revamp of every item in the game, but what are the most searched for items in wowhead? That should give you an idea that players are having trouble identifying what it is for.
Anyway, just a couple of suggestion from the player’s point of view, not just mine, but from discussions that I’ve had with other’s as well.
