Game stuck at 100% load screen, game world refuses to load

I’ve been dealing with this for 2 months now. It’s completely random and has been more frequent over the past month. I’ve contacted support twice, built a new computer, and attempted multiple full UI resets as well as two fresh installs of the game, nothing has worked. Blizzard support can’t help me and I can’t play the game. I’m running a single client that continues to freeze on load, forcing me to restart the client at least two times every time I try to launch the game.

What’s your add-on stiuation like?

I’ve deleted all of them, just to be sure. I don’t know what it is but whenever I watch a video or download a file while playing, it’s like the data coming and going from my connection is overwhelming the game client. Discord and other chat programs also cause it to freeze up.

Might be overwhelming your network card, or there’s some sort of quality of service setting turned on.

What are network cards exactly? I’m on an ethernet connection at a 1 Gbs connection speed. I’ve also checked the QoS Policy section, I don’t have any set up that should be affecting my connection.

Your computer uses a network card to connect to your modem. It’s the interface the ethernet cord plugs into.

Have you checked the Windows Event Viewer under system logs to see what errors are occuring when you try to launch. Usually this is just a third-party app causing the connection conflict, like a security app or vpn.

nothing in event viewer is saying it’s conflicting with wow. the game runs right up until the point of the world being displayed, idk what else I can do other than disable voice proxy.

Oh, you’re using a proxy server to connect?

No. Voice proxy is the auto-enabled voice program for the in-game chat service. It’s been causing a lot of issues for people since it was added in during Legion.

Can you post a DxDiag and also an MSInfo on Pastebin.com? Please keep them separate for the sake of my eyes

it is happening again
