Game keeps starting positioned below the dock at the bottom

not game breaking at all but when I start the game part of the wow screen is below the dock. i have to move up the game window so that the game isn’t hidden by the dock. everytime I start the game it is back to the position below the dock again. wow is not remembering where I have it positioned. i am having to adjust its positioning every time. has this happened to anyone else? does anyone have a solution?

Yes I’ve noticed it on my Mac Studio running Sequoia.

As far as I can tell, the WoW window seems to reference itself so it’s centred between the lower edge of the Finder and the absolute bottom of the screen, rather than being centred between the lower edge of the Finder and top of the dock. This is most likely because the dock is resizeable and so not a predictable constant but it inevitably means the window can lap under the dock if large enough.

The only thing I’ve really found works for sure is just to reduce your WoW window a little bit (by manually drag-resizing) so it defaults to a size that centres and fits without fouling the dock on start-up.

If mine’s too big, I’ve just got in the habit of giving the window a quick click and flick upwards on start-up and it snaps up to the Finder anyway … till next time.

As you say, no biggie, just a minor irritant I guess !
