Game is very unrewarding for mythic raiders

The reward was that you could run around in the open world and destroy everything..... too bad with scaling you don't feel like a total god in the open world anymore.

Let me finish,

Outside of raiding that is, game is very unrewarding for mythic raiders.

World quests for pointless, timewalking is pointless,
Can’t push mythic plus this week

I really can’t see any reason to log on outside of the 9 hours my guild raides

Last week me and my friends did a lot of mythic pluses and they were fun. This week they are too boring and frustrating and not worth the effort to push just for the sake of challenge it self.

I guess I’ll give RBGs a shot. Leveling an alt is too boring already leveled 2 can’t stand the tought of leveling another.

9 hours a week is a healthy amount of time played. You should be thanking Blizz for not sucking up more of your actual life.

Hate to tell you but even on the characters I have never stepped foot into any raids or mythic plus dungeons, world quests are pointless and the same with timewalking.

So don't pretend you are in a special situation because you are a mythic raider - you aren't. Almost everyone who has played regularly is there as well.

Oh but they do - blizzard forgot the point of ilvl scaling this expansion - they penalized people with crappy gear at the start not the people who very much outgear the content.

World quests in Legion were easier, faster to do, and more fun.

For me personally they feel the exact same. The only different is the motivation and reward behind them. Order Hall resources were heavily desired because how how lucrative the mission table was. And AP actually made an impact and thus was desirable to farm, at least in the first half of the expansion.

Take the impact of those reward out of legion and I feel as though most people would agree in how similar this all feels. The reward and the impact of them I think is what kept people for Legion. I will give you that at least Legion had Suramar and that working toward that story actually felt like you were doing something in the world, BFA has none of that either.

I agree with that other poster - legion WQs were faster and more rewarding. There is absolutely too much travel time in BfA world quests for the most. Do two on alliance side then hearth back to the city to go and finish doing two on horde side or wait a day until you get two more on alliance side - way way too much of that nonsense.

9 hours a week isn't a healthy amount of time. That's like a a small fraction of the hours in a week. Some people play games as their hobby. what you're suggesting is 1.2 hours a day. You can't even mount run on a single toon in that little amount of time.
If they made the rare elites fun and they actually drop something cool or rewarding that would be something. I see a "rare" now, I don't even bother. Same as treasure chest.

And the dungeons and raid just suck. There was no heart or passion in the BFA design except for art.

Art.... The most important art to me is what my character wears and the armor this expansion is arguably the worst out of any expansion.

Why do you play this game anymore OP? You create countless threads about how you dislike it. Constantly.

If I disliked any game as much as you dislike playing WoW, I would quit it and move on.

I am genuinely curious about the plight of the person that dislikes nearly every aspect of WoW, yet continues funding Blizzard. (directly or indirectly). it is amazing.

Well I wouldn't expect $15 do cover all my gaming needs in a month though. If you have a lot of free time available to game you have to be in in the realm of realistic in regards to how far that will go. That said, it seems like for a lot of people it is barely even meeting the $15 worth of content expectation. They did pretty good with meeting that 72 day interval with legion and keeping that story progressing at an okay pace, this is a long time here without anything moving the story along.

We pay for an expansion every few years at 60$, we pay monthly at 15$ (not everyone pays with gold). 180$ a year had better have damn near amazing content consistently. Not minor weekly bs. Sorry I disagree with you, an MMO is meant to cover all your gaming needs for that genre.

Brand new $60 games often have like a weekends worth of gameplay at best. I think I 100% AC: Origins in about a week. On average to fulfill my monthly gaming habit I would be spending like $240 on games give or take. I don't expect for my $15 a month that WoW would ever fulfill that equivalent amount of gaming. And for the most part it saves me money, it just so happens that currently I feel like I am not even getting $15 worth but I already paid upfront as I was drawn in by the mount deal for 6 months game purchase.

This is actually a really good push week. Just use that thing rattling around in yer skull it's good for more than just keepin yer ears apart.
Yuuup I feel bad for mythic raiders I can out gear em by just doing M+ and I don't like it in my mind Mythic raiding gear should be the highest or have some special effects added to the armor

Entitlement at its best.

The reward for doing mythic raiding is, in fact, being able to do mythic raiding.

Anyone can mythic raid if they put the time in to learn their characters and how to play them at a top level. This is a very poor argument from someone that clearly doesn't do content!

Now imagine players who don't do mythic raiding. They have no reason to log in at all and nothing worthwhile doing.

It kind of makes me wonder what they were thinking when they set this up.

This. They nerfed titanforging to please mythic raiders.... Now we cant even try to titanforge azerite armor and its not really worth doing wqs as a casual either. I prefered the Legion titanforging to the system we have now.

BFA has nothing like this, it is incredibly lackluster in the effort put into this.
It's not so much that... it's the fact that they carried on the same system from Legion and put the BfA skin on it.

It's no different than how daily quests used to be between BC/Wrath/Cata/MoP. It was literally the same system, just with new quests for the faction/expansion. That system did not change at all really until Cata or MoP when they added a 25/day hard cap on them. It wasn't until Legion and the World Quest system was developed that daily quests changed.

And I laugh at people that complain about the WQs. As if having to do literally the exact same 5-8 quests per day with maybe 1 or 2 different was some how better and had more variety. Especially when you earned less rep under that system.

Sorry I disagree with you, an MMO is meant to cover all your gaming needs for that genre.
No. That's just your entitlement speaking there. Blizzard does not exist to serve you as an individual. Period. Sorry to disabuse you of that notion but welcome to real life. Blizzard owes you, me, every other poster on this forum and every person who pays them $15/mo NOTHING except for access to the system. That's it.

The rest is all up to us. If you can find enough things to do that you enjoy and make it worth the $15/mo then great. If not, then YOU need to decide if the $15/mo is worth it to you or not. If not, then you just fill out a web form and your subscription is over. You need to find your own fun in the game.

Blizzard does the best it can and gets derided on it constantly. I remember when Pet Battles were announced. They got ripped to shreds for it in some corners. But the thing is Ghostcrawler summed up the effort by stating Blizzard's goal in creating such a feature was to have players never be able to log in and say "There's nothing to do!" And "nothing to do" is worlds apart from "There's nothing I want to do in game" because there is always something to do. You could PvP, push M+ keys, sell raid/M+ carries, the aforementioned pet battles.

Except fully-geared Mythic raiders probably exceed the health scaling cap already on mobs. People who struggle are either fresh max levels experiencing the exponential increase in rating->percentage on stats or people who can't even follow the Easy Mode guides on Icy Veins for their spec.

Problem is, we pay 15$ a month to "Play other games." That's not right.

Or maybe you shouldn't play the game 12hrs a day? and then complain about "lack of content" or nothing else to do?

No matter what blizzard will do, you guys will always finish it day 1 of the release.. that's why it's never fun for you guys.

Some people play the game 2-3 hrs a day.. that's why there is a lot of things to do for them.

I know a lot of people they just do everything on the reset... (all xmog runs, all current raids etc) then take a break for 6days without playing the game.

Why do you do that?

:/

No.

The heart of a game like this is repeatable content, content that is engaging, rewarding, and fun, content for people with different interests and different skill levels.

The idea that content should be designed to be one size fits all and one-and-done is what is driving people away from the game.
Ok to the OP you obviously dont get this expansion. The ONLY time sink we have is infinite Island Expeditions. Think of it the same way we had to grind billions of artifact power in Legion. The good thing is that it is not capped by quests. In Legion it was. Even Ion said it in the last QA ... island Epid. were the way they were going.

2nd. They are also a good source of income... I make 100's k gold off of them. Lots of BOE drops at 325 ....
