Game is unplayable due to error 51900319

I have been having this error disconnect me since the beginning of The War Within expansion. It used to be that I would occasionally get disconnected in Dornegal, then every time I got near Mereldar. Eventually it started happening every time I log in. I found all the other forum posts with the same issue and tried all the “fixes”:
Reset UI, done several times.
Reinstalled WoW/Battlenet, done.
Swapped to wired connection, done.
Flushed DNS, done.
Spoke to my internet provider, done.
Restarted Router/Modem, done multiple times.
Bought new router/modem, done.

If it was listed on a forum as a fix, I’ve tried it. I’ve made tickets in game, I was told to re-try all the fixes that I’d already done. It used to only affect Retail, but is now affecting Cata classic. Nothing has worked, so I was told in my last ticket to try the bug report forum.

Were you able to solve the problem? This is the fourth day of this problem. In addition to your actions, I also reinstalled the software on my router and traced my traffic through Winmtr. I found a temporary way out - Russian VPN, but playing constantly with 400 pings is hell. For information, there is the traffic is stable (although 400 ms). And this is not a problem with my router and computer. Friends came to me and stayed on their accounts for few hours. There are no problems. And I have, what the hell…

No, unfortunately. This issue, for me, is constant and has been happening since a few days after the release of TWW. I can’t play retail anymore because of it. All classic servers are fine, and I did the same as you tracing my traffic and I didn’t find anything there (admittedly I’m not the most savvy readying all that stuff though).

Where did you trace the traffic to? Did you collect the IP from the resource monitor on Windows?

I have been having the same issues for over a week now. I’ve tried everything that everyone else has done and suggested including delete the WTF folder… I’m at a loss we really need a resolve for this… otherwise Blizzard should really be providing some refunds.

Customer Support staff can point you to troubleshooting steps you can complete on your own, but they won’t be able to do a deep dive into a connection issue. There are too many companies and nodes between your home and the server, all of which are beyond Blizzard’s control.

When it only happens on retail, there are no concerns from ISP, no 3rd party apps, nothing but a fresh WoW install, I cannot imagine there is any other direction that fingers can be pointed… No issue with COD, HOTS, WoW Classic, Diablo1-4…

Well, all of those are hosted in the same data centers as WoW, so it’s more likely a local or character-specific issue.

So what does one do about that? Delete all their characters?

I traced it to battle.net. i have no idea where to trace to otherwise, and i cant get in retail long enough to check for anything else to trace to. most of my characters are on full pop servers, but I’ve tried low and new player servers and still get the error. i have no addons installed.

Judging by the statistics that have been collected over the past 2 weeks, Blizzard is simply in no hurry to solve the problem. It was solved faster by the lmao VPN service providers! The bottom line is this: I bought several paid subscriptions to VPN services and ran into the same problem. After registration, I came across 51900319 and 5190325 again. I decided to try blaming the VPN service provider. And, oh my God, they admitted that the problem was with the provider that the data center provided them with to connect. They promised that they would look for alternative data centers that would not involve the backbone provider twelve99 (which is unlikely because this provider is used by all providers in the USA), as well as independently talk with this provider about excluding ip from the list of suspicious ones. To answer very briefly, this provider mistakenly considers your connection not to be a streaming (constant stream of data), but an attempt at a DDOS attack. It’s just amazing - small-cap campaigns are more interested in player issues than Blizzard. This information is more useful for players who often travel from the United States and worry that an abrupt IP change may block their account.

No other games have any issues for me, and I really dont want to have to spend an extra $xx per month just to play wow retail. I am hopeful (stupid, I know) that this can possibly be resolved. Thankfully, cata classic isn’t affected anymore, I think that was just a tuesday issue

I too am receiving the error: 51900319

I haven’t played for a month or two, but about a couple weeks ago I logged in and kept receiving this error every few minutes. I assumed it was a bug and Blizzard would fix it so I decided to wait it out. A week later (which is last week), I’ve tried logging in a few more times; however, I’m still getting the 51900319 error code.

I do have a lot of addons, so I disabled all of them and had the launcher scan/repair all files. Didn’t help. Still get the error.

Life is busy and unfortunately I don’t have the time to spend troubleshooting a game when I can simply go do something else with the limited free time I have.

Never had this problem in 20 years.
Just started today on a FP to SS from SW.
Now I can’t log in at all.
Weird.

Removing since context is now gone!

ok about the disconnect issue error: 51900319 i have been unable to play my main char on Soulseeker for 7 days now… litteraly getting DC as i am logging in or couple sec into playing. Meanwhile i dont have this issue on other realms which i can play normaly… how is that my issue ? Blizzard only suggesting troubleshotting which isnt helping at all and this problem only affecting this character how is that even possible ?¨

Yes, I’ve seen all the posts saying the same thing, but a lot of the threads contain the same group of players reposting their problem.

Make sure you’re taking advantage of all troubleshooting steps, like trying a VPN for another location outside your city (edit: choose the datacenter cities, Las Vegas or Chicago). If that works, then your ISP still needs to update its routing table for Blizzard’s changes that happened after the DDoS parade a week ago.

I am sorry but are you trolling me right now ? Litteraly no other Blizzard game does this… No other realm does this no other expansion does this. How it is my problem that this specific realm doesnt work… can you care to elaborate ? And how it is in my power to make this specific server work that make no sence…
