I mean yeah super high framerates are better (I do have a 144Hz monitor), but I usually keep it on 60 for this game because 60 is enough given there is latency to the server anyway. Just keeps things cooler and uses less power.
I’m on a 12900k. Was the best available at the time I built this machine. The X3D chips didn’t come out until later. If I were to build a machine today it’d definitely be a 7800 or 9800X3D. Wouldn’t use a 5800 because I’m not using PGA chips. Thankfully AMD finally got off of that obsolete platform.
If you are curious about them see my reply here. Compares 13900k and 7950x3D the 13900k needed 7200mhz to even come close to the 7950x3D which was running 6000mhz
World of Warcraft benefits from the cache more than pretty much any other game out there. It is a CPU dependent game. CPU dependent games rely on two things. Cpu+ram speed. However with the heavy cache makes the ram speed kind of unimportant. That’s why it’s so good for Budget gamers because they don’t need super fast expensive RAM
In Most Games other than WoW you wont notice much of a difference because you are GPU bottlenecked in most titles. Unless you are on a 4090 then you will 100% see …
