I just find armory attacks pointless.
I get what you are saying, as a PVE player I would occasionally play and do stuff in PVP, I have not played in any PVP for years. I think, somehow it use to be a part of our PVE world (I’m just guessing) but have not played in a long time. But, PVP peeps might really appreciate that cuz I really am not good. This is just a reply in thinking casual peeps are doing it less too? Cuz, we really have other options.
What do you think? Am I off base.
P.S. are there other games? I have not played any other game before… I’m teetering on the continue of play as PVE as well.
As you should. Anything that goes like “Yea well your only bla bla in this mode and blabla in that your opinion doesnt count” is literally the definition of an ad hominem logical fallacy. IE attacking the person instead of the argument.

Not everyone likes raiding, not everyone likes M+, not everyone likes pvp. I personally think it’s a good thing if people are forced into aspects of the game they may not like if they want to min/max.

I don’t think forcing people to do stuff they may or may not like is a good idea. It should always be encouraged, but never forced.
Here is where I think Blizz went so wrong with this years ago…
Every time someone got a new CC, everyone complained… But instead of taking things away, they just gave others ways out of it… Then more CC came… Then more defense against it… rinse and repeat.
So what you have now is a constant CC battle. The whole game slows down and not in a good way. Its so over done that good fights are hindered by being slowed 90% of the fight.
Its not fun. The game is fun when both classes are fighting 90% of the time with only 1-2 CCs and better use them wisely…
IMO anyway…

It’s a valid point that people on forums have been saying the game’s been dying for almost 20 years now, and it’s clearly not dead.

Its not dead yet, I said dying and it is. I don’t care what people have said in the past, I have been here since 2005. Its waaaaay down. It has been since the start of the season. I also don’t want it to be dead, its not like I am hoping for it…
Signs are all there… Long queues, BGs start unfilled, Seeing the same names way more, Gross balance issues have gone months unaddressed, etc…

That could also mean is that (now that there are more options than just BGs), people are choosing to PvP in other formats.
In the case of random BGs, the use of consumables/pickup buffs throw off the balance that exists, which is also tuned around 3v3 arenas for PvP.
Of course you had to respond, you just can’t help yourself. Keep padding the post count.
How about ignoring posts like this, and these threads would vanish. The forum regulars like you and Briselody are the reason these threads keep growing.
You complain about threads like this, but you can’t help to feed the trolls. It is hilarious to watch sometimes.

Look at them all. Top 3 comments just crapping on someone having a bad time. It’s unreal just how people are rotten to the core in these online gaming forums. Take a look at yourselves and ask what made you decide to insult and belittle the OP, rather than trying a little sympathy, or even saying nothing at all.

I am more talking about the PVP side. I know it was never a main concern of the Devs but it did have a big following. In fact, its a pretty loyal following, that is why I say its been different this expac… For the reasons I described…
