Game is legit dying

What? This is literally in their hands, right now. The ball is in their court at the moment. 9.1.5 is entirely up to them.

Tweaking the dumb systems they feel obligated to force upon us to drive up engagement numbers and make the game resemble activity is something they can easily adjust. They just refuse to accept nobody likes this crap and instead get inflammatory at their own players who are upset for not liking it as being the problem.

Except we’re not talking about a walkout, we’re talking about the patch they’re releasing for their game that regardless if you want to admit it or not, NEEDS to excel or drive yet another nail into the coffin.

People got baited hard with 9.1 supposedly fixing problems, now are coping that “Well, 6.1 was technically worse and X.1 patches aren’t that big anyway normally, 9.2 will fix it.” They can’t hold around until 9.2 for Blizzard to maybe do something to fix the game’s abysmal state.

They have New World to deal with, XIV’s expansion and current hype train to deal with, on top of a REALLY BAD public image. Sorry but customization options are not going to cut it for a patch when everyone is going to be looking at what the other games are getting.

Players on 9.1.5 at this rate are going to basically be the poor kid in a private school that for lunch gets a basic ham and cheese sandwich with an apple like a school sack lunch while the other kids are eating homecooked lunches made by their posh parents.

It has been legit dying for many years now.

How do you do fellow payers, I mean players.

Don’t know what’s worse, the fact people are so desperate they’re willing to just assume things will get changed despite being a game standard for the last 5 years that they never deviated from before. Or the fact this literally comes off like the early 2010s when every franchise had a Twitter account to “throw shade at competition” so people were more inclined to eat at Wendy’s because whoever operated their Twitter account “totally burned” Burger King on Twitter yesterday because they felt related to because “hey, I also talk s- on the internet to random avatars! So cool and relatable!”

Game is legit dying ?
I’m sure only Blizz really know that and they won’t sit idle by but don’t expect 'em to miraculously go ‘‘hey [insert your name] your wishes will be granted in next weeks reset’’, let’s be real.

This could be a sunday thing but who cares… boredom has me replying.

It’s ok to be hopeful and it’s also ok to be skeptical.

I’m both which I said. I want to believe things get better, I don’t necessary think they will.

Big fixes would take much longer to implement. No way is anyone going to get the big fixes any time soon. It would take a content update at the very least. Most things can’t be fixed with just a few weeks work. They could probably do numerical changes though if your primary concern is balance.

honestly simple posts saying the game is dying is the best way to bait the copium breathing masses that is the wow forums.

if you legit think the game isnt dying with ff14 taking over and the lack of any relevant fixes to glaring issues, i want what you have

Then talk about intended big changes and give us something to look forward to. or say nothing and let us read minds through walls idk. Either way if we have to figure it out ourselves we will and they and the rest of the wow community might not like the alternative.

They really can’t discuss things unless they are set in stone. Options are likely on the table and discussing which method to handle situations, which solution to take… But if they just tell us what these options are. I think we both know how that ends. The community by large, isn’t adult enough to be told perspective solutions.

Yeah big fixes like :
removing conduit energy (not a big fix)
Making it easier to swap covenants (not a big fix)
Huge increase to rep gains and research from Korthia (not a big fix)
Adding flight whistle (not a big fix)

you know, bunch of big fixes (not actually big fixes at all)

what an absolute cop out, you ever heard of a roadmap?

does blizz pay you in blizzcon bucks or money seriously.

lmfao
sorry guys we were gonna discuss the road map but you guys arent mature enough

Ever attended one? It’s literally where they discuss things like this. Used to be even more open too. Know what happens?

Wahhhhhhhh broken promises, because a ton of people can’t get it in their skulls things being discussed are not set in stone. Proof the community isn’t mature enough to be a part of the big discussions.

They rather add another idiotic grindy and gated borrowed power system instead of fixing the game and removing all the other cancerous systems instead.

ahh the trend of “only replying to a point in a post that you have a response to that seems reasonable” continues from the blizzard shills incorporated.

game had a golden age when Ghostcrawler actively sought input from the class discords and the top players, why do you think that is? This has been discussed at length.

When Blizzard asks what people (who have extensive knowledge of the class) find fun, they get answers that result in classes that are fun.

When Blizzard thinks they know what players find fun, we get things like the Maw, Korthia, Torghast affixes, Crafted legendaries, Conduits and Covenant restrictions.

If you referring to how those things you mentioned above as being not big fixes. The answer is they do take larger fixes. You are being short sighted as to the implications of what those systems do. They would need to implement other things to do their job. The main aspect of those systems I’m sure everyone can agree is to slow players content consumption down. Due to it being literally impossible to make enough content for the players. The hour of creation per time of consumption is unbalanced. They are likely discussing other possible solutions to keep players engaged.

WoW is the new Rift enjoy your empty cities.

Oh do they? Well lets go through them one by one and see how the technology is literally already there.

Conduit Energy
Already has a recharge rate, they could very easily increase the speed at which it recharges to a point where each day you have a full bar regardless of how many you swap in and out, this temporary measure would fix the system until they completely scrap it

Making it easier to swap covenants
Unfortunately for you Blizzard made a post a few weeks ago about how they “temporarily” made the covenants “forgive us” for swapping and would let us swap without as much as touching a quest, if they could do it once why couldn’t they keep doing it?

Increase in rep gains
Unfortunately for you they’ve already already touched research twice so they are not stranger with mucking around with this, they could very easily incraese the amount in each lootable/elite killed

Flight whistle

ohhhhh how could they possibly do this jeez it would be soooooooooooooooo hard for them to add (bring back) the flight whistle gosh
