In all honesty, devs. Ya’ll need some new ideas. The stuff you create is so tedious. It’s the type of things you see in mobile games.
Why does nearly everything have to be so tedious?
- Korthia is torture,
- Torghast is just not worth it,
- materials for legendary items are just far too expensive,
- You can’t reforge the stats of legendaries,
- You can’t change the power of your legendaries,
- You can’t quickly switch from one covenant to another (it can take up to two week if you’re trying to go back to covenant you used before… Why?)
PvP is also full of absolutely broken mechanics
- Gear gap too high between players
- Unbalanced teams (Making it so you pretty much know the result before the game has even begun)
- Terrible rating system (You need better rating to upgrade your gear, but not enough players are playing, and so you’ll be playing against Gladiators at 1000 rating if you win too many in a row. The system takes in consideration streaks for your personal rating, despite the fact that the gear power is tiered by rating. Like, cut it out?)
You guys should quit if you’re no longer motivated, and let people who care about WoW make the game better. Right now, you’re not doing good enough of a job. Almost anybody could do better. It’s embarassing.

All those things you listed make sense if you go by these beliefs:
- Most of the developers do not play the game.
- Blizzard knew Shadowlands would be devoid of content, so they intentionally timegated everything.

ya to many lisen to ELITSIT , game not frendly to pepole wanna get gears , gotta do mystic dungen ? gotta do rateng battle grond ? Those are great ideas. Even elite players don’t even care for the game, as they’re also leaving because they hate getting killed in one shot. It’s good to see that a Blizzard dev reads the forums.

Something I have seen echoed before, and true. Shadowlands is basically the equivalent of series writers not knowing what to do with the story, so in order to put something out to keep views (in this case subs), they just insert a random filler plot episode that seems disattached from everything. Shadowlands is that for WoW expansions.

People play and or stay subbed idk. Take a break you’ll feel better and then 4 yrs from now you can pull the famous shadowlands was better than this expansion.

Yeah I gotta say the core devs are pretty slow to act on things or are very stubborn on things they do - - and quite honestly do not know how to do anything outside of raids/dungeons well.

Legendaries right now basically function as a new final talent row. Instead of getting a row at level 60 you get to pick the legendary ability you want.
It’s cute that you think the devs have any actual say in the day to day design of the game. They’re just following orders from up the pipeline

Here’s what bothers me about that.
Ion probably is filtering out all the terrible raid/dungeon concepts, but there’s no Ion for the other aspects of the game to say from experience, “no, don’t do that.”
Like, Ion has a proven track record as an excellent encounter developer… and the only good thing in the game are the encounters. O_O

Yup… which is what stops WoW for me at least from moving forward in making a better non-instanced experience. I look at every other aspect and see them fail constantly or fall short of what could of been.
