Yes it happens to me as a LittleWigs user from time to time but not for 5-10 seconds…more like 3ish seconds
Not the PC necessarily, but probably still not the game. I’ve got a hunch that it’s related to Windows updates and/or graphics drivers, not WoW.

It is, ever since nvidia driver was updated few months ago, its just causing some problems in some of my games. I am surprised that issue haven’t been resolved.
Yeah, my issues not being limited to WoW are the big tip-off to me that the problem’s not coming from WoW. Even Discord acts weird when I have a game running ever since whatever update it was that broke these things.

My wife and I also experience issues. Certain weakauras exacerbate the freezing.
Could be related to the new addon performance tracking they added in 11.1.
Either way its very annoying.
It’s related to Windows 11. My girlfriend and I switched to Windows 10, and the issues are gone.
I get several freeze ups also but the game resumes after a bit.
But I get disconnected every time I have a character land in Ardenweald, Heart of the Forest flight path and I then move. Instant disconnect every time. Been this way for several months.
The Nvidia thing is curious.

Yep, exactly. I’m still blaming this.
Unfortunately, my laptop automatically updated and wouldn’t allow me to ignore it. 
Yeah, Palia is giving me issues now when it never did either.
Hi OP, not sure if you have an Nvidia graphics card, but there was an issue with their previous driver that was causing the graphics driver to fail while running wow. Seems to be addressed in the new version: 572.83. Good luck!

yea I have good internet and a beefy system which can handle WoW easily on ultra settings and I get freezing and sometimes dc’ing…it’s been happening a lot lately

I have version 572.83 and mine still has the issue. Its been happening for a couple weeks for me.
what i experience is a 2-3 second freeze, then back to normal. Sometimes in keys its been deadly for me but generally i am able to get outta it but its a butt pucker moment everytime for sure lol

This bug has nailed me a few times, and last week it was responsible for me causing a raid wipe on Mug’Zee (due to being unable to move when targeted for the gaols/prison mechanic).
The trigger, in my case, tends to be either alt-tabbing or a background process stealing window focus. I happened to have a scheduled script kick-off during raid that stole my window focus. We were running over normal stop time, so it was just bad timing. I normally wouldn’t have that going during raid. However, I’ve also had this same screen freeze happen when just flying around the world and alt-tabbing.
As with many, I’m running an Nvidia card (RTX 3090 Ti) with current drivers as of today, with an i9-12900 on Windows 11 24H2 (which is loaded with problems, I’m well aware).
The only add-on I was running at the time was DBM (required in my raid, otherwise I normally don’t run add-ons).

Happened a bunch to me last night while doing BG Blitz, very annoying.
Blood lust goes off and lag is unbelievable.
It happens to me last few weeks to a month? I use dbm and I have noticed it’s during raids or keys and something is going out since most often Im Dead by the it unfreezes. I just assumed laptop was getting dated. Glad to know not just me
This has been happening to me recently, but I assumed it was addon related.
The running gag since the issues with paladins earlier this patch is that it’s still paladins and probably always will be now.
I get a lot of lag in Undermine, when there’s a raid group killing the world boss.
Run sfc /scannow and then disk cleanup then defrag to trim the drive
resize the swap file reboot then put the swap file back to its native settings then
do a true defrag then 20% freezing just may stop unless you got tons of apps running on your task bar. Mine never froze
