been dying since party finder
idk turalyons pretty light on players in dornogal.
Nah the game is a lot more seasonal now. People will log in for like 2 hours a day, then go play something else then maybe not log in again for like 3 days.
I usually don’t even play Season 1. I usually wait until S2.
I wouldn’t say its dying, but I do feel like it’s already winding down a bit given the state of things right now. Keys are still a bit of a mess, and they started out very rough which has made people disengage with them already. Followed by delves offer the same gear until level 6 from the end chests and weekly vault.
Then you have the gearing disparities present with the season, again combined with it takes a lot more effort and longer to gear. Which to me has made the bulk of people less inclined to play or make alts. Personally I only have time for my main, and even then I still barely have enough time to keep him relevant for the season due to all of what’s required.
Just overall this expansion has been going down the same track as shadowlands, super expensive to participate in due to the high crafting cost of everything. Serious balancing issues that are still not resolved for classes and end game content. Delves and dungeons launching in a poorly tuned state for the season start. The raid has been the only solid thing that has launched for this season, the raid felt fine to play from day one, everything else though has needed a ton of changes to mostly bring it inline to being at a proper level. Yet I feel like the gearing disparity and increased cost as well is just going to really cause a ton of issues for the expansion if they don’t nip it in the bud now.
I went to a world quest the other day were you had to tag 5 mobs before other people and desecrate its corpse and there were 20 people fighting over spawnpoints
MG seems pretty busy!! I always see tons of alliance online lol! I usually on my horde and i always feel like the lone belf in a sea of alliance lol!
Games has been dieing since 2004, and it ressurected in 2019 when classic vanilla came back, then died again when cata classic came out and is about to ressurect another time with the next fresh classic.
OP are you sure you didn’t just get put into a dead instance of Dornogal? Did you try logging out and logging back in to see?
It’s been happening to me on Area 52, every so often if I go AFK for too long I come back to a ghost town Dornogal and if I log out and log back in I’m no longer in a dead instance of the city. IIRC leaving the city and coming back fixes it too but I can’t remember if this is true.
DF S3/S4 definitely spoiled everyone myself included
Ah I just don’t like the m+ dungeons this season and the affixes and then the fact you can’t get mythic track or fully upgraded your heroic track gear unless you do a 10+ which blizzard change but way too late. I have no desire to play the game.
I’ve been spending a lot of my game time in delves lately.
Have you come across the elusive hero tier quickwick candlestick yet? that thing is crazy good.
I have it on my Warlock and I’m really really glad I got it on a class that it could actually be good on.
My servers (i play on 2) are both hopping, No matter what time of day i’m in a city or trying to farm herbs there are people
'S what happens when you make progression, classes, tanks, healers, difficulty, etc. Absolutely garbage.
Shocking.
lmao.
Game is alive and well… stop being a
Some people like to make fun of “game is dying” posts, but the game is definitely diminishing. The days are long past when it was ‘cool’ to mock people for choosing to not purchase ‘early access’ for such a buggy, lackluster release. There are still so many bugs and new ones created each week, but I guess remaining players are OK with that for now. It is kind of amazing how empty various places are after prime time. But at least BG queues are still pretty good.
It’d be impossible to see if the game was dying cause we’re all on dozens of different layers. Even then the falloff post expansion launch is pretty typical.
However the most recent graph we have shows WoW is still going very strong so idk.
The other day I went to target and there wasn’t as many people there that one particular day so that is pretty much incontrovertible proof that they will be going out of business very soon.
Was shocked to see DF had so many players in it earlier. Haven’t been through BfA or SL recently, but even TBC has been seeing some action.
