So I have been trying to make it so that I can use number pad keys on my laptop with a Razer Tartarus v2 extender I had around. I downloaded the app that lets me change the key settings and I tested it and they are changed to the number pads but when I try to assign them to the key binding it sees them as something different like home and end. Any thoughts on how I can make it so it see the buttons as number pads?
I think you need the number lock on to use the numbers.
If you aren’t trying to use shift with any of the binds, then like Btq said, check that your numberlock is on.
If you are trying to use shift-number pad keybindings, that’s unfortunately a problem without any good workarounds.
Windows sees shift-number pad input as something entirely different. (Such as home and the arrow keys independent of the number lock setting.) At least the last time I did research, there was no way to make Windows not do this. The only workaround is to not use shift with the numberpad for bindings or to bind those buttons to other things.
