Having a weird issue where my game freezes then crashes everytime I log onto my warlock
It is parked in valdrakken, but I have other characters there that I can log onto just fine.
Anyone experience anything similar?

Yes alot of people are. There is nothing that can be done on our side to fix it.

Throw in having it happen on a character that fell through the world and you have what happened to my Highmountain Tauren Warrior on Bloodhoof.
Use the character stuck service through the website.
Disable all addons for said character, log in and re-enable addons again. It’s a known issue for some years now.

It is not a stuck character issue.
disable addon works temporarily. once you reenable the addons, logoff and log back in, game crashes again.
J iggle the handle.

This worked for my character but when I re-enable the addons again it crashes almost instantly.
But the addons work fine for my other chars and are up to date.

I rarely say to disable addons these days because I usually get attacked in return. Sounds like an addon you’re using isn’t loading properly. Only use addons that are updated for the latest build of the game. That’s the practice I’m using and haven’t run into a single freeze/crash.
I believe all my addons are up to date but will check.
I find it odd that if it is an addon issue why it is only affecting ONE character though. I dont use many addons and those I do use are pretty general (like weak auras) and I dont have some I use for one char and some for another. Thus I would assume if it is an addon issue it would affect ALL my chars not just one.
But stranger things have happened I suppose.
Could be how the addon is interacting with the spells or abilities of that character. Make sure when you look in your addon manager or the repository you download them from that each has an update dated within the 11.0 patch period.
Well I tried playing around with addons and while my paladin was able to last a bit longer they still d/c quite frequently (enough that I cannot que for anything or do the pre-xpac events)
Tried disabling ALL of them and still had this issue on just my Paladin.
For me it happens on the character with the most progress I have. Usually changes between my hunter or my paladin that I take turns maining.
Been that way for years and never got a response from Blizz regarding it.
