Game crashes after character selection

Hi, I can log in & see all my characters without issue, but when I try to enter the game it gets to 60-70% loading & dumps me back to windows. I was able to get on earlier today without too many problems & play with the new UI

Sadly im stuck in the same boat as well from what im seeing it could be a driver issue (and i have nothing to update) or its just a client issue

Since this was my first post in this thread; I’m editing it with my solution from below

"OKAY: SOLUTION

Since this seemed based on account data from the previous users post; my assumption here was that perhaps my synced data was causing this problem. Deleting the WTF and cache folder is NOT enough to prevent Blizzard from syncing settings to your account again after you’ve deleted it.

The solution:

  1. Open the WoW game settings in the Blizzard launcher
  2. Check the additional command line arguments box, type -console
  3. Delete your WTF/Cache folders
  4. Open WoW, once you have WoW open hit the ~ key
  5. Type in the following
  • SET synchronizeSettings “0”

EDIT ABOVE: Just the settings need to be unsynced"

Sadly no from everything iv been reading we are just dead in the water till blizz fixes stuff

Honestly im not sure at this point i have a bunch of buddies who are able to be on without issue but yet im not able to get on

Same here. Wife is having same issue on her account too. I can get on my daughter’s account and characters just fine, which is a sub-account under mine though.

I’m trying the scan and repair tool, and it said something broke and trying again…
Scanned again got to 98% and said it broke again…

Okay that’s strange, so something with the profiles perhaps - somehow a fresh reinstall didn’t resolve this however

I just tried using the free starter edition account linked to my main account and it was able to get in fine but my main account cant -_-

Either way this is just crazy i guess ill be missing raid tonight lol

Yeah same, friends are in game :’( ahhh this sucks
