For those of you who were confused as i was, this is about buying the game and what you get
so for 15$ subscription - you get all past expansion and 1 month of game time
for battle for azeroth (49.99$) - you get the newest expansion
for WoW complete collection (59.99) - Newest expansion / 1 month of game time / 110 boost(1x only)
I was confused for awhile but now i know that the 49.99$ is the Worst deal ever.
I am going to buy some game time for now, and jump up to the 60$ bundle later. The boost is a 60$ value / 1 month of wow 15$ value / and the expansion is a 50$. TOTAL is : 125$ value for 60$. Great deal.
So the complete collection is really sweet :)
Hope this helps other people. I am buying the game time today and working on this monk. Cheers.

THe newest expact comes with a boost regardless of if you get the complete collection or the stander.
Yeah, like shin says BFA by itself for $49.99 comes with a boost as well.
All you get from the complete collection is a month sub for the difference of $10.
Furthermore, the complete collection can only be applied to a wow starter account (an account that hasn't had a subscription applied to it before). So your strategy of buying a months gametime and then buying the $60 bundle later won't actually work, you'll only be able to buy bfa for $50.
Your best option as a new player intending to play bfa is to buy the complete collection when you start your new account.

A) They charged for World of Warcraft back in 2004, and every single expansion released since then. If you want the current expansion, you have to buy it.11/04/2018 03:58 AMPosted by Promonkbut now i know that the 49.99$ is the Worst deal ever.
B) New console games generally go for $49-$59 -- many of which won't be played consistently for two years -- and every expansion adds the equivalent amount of content to the existing game (which is why people were upset with less content in WoD for a higher price). Previous expansions cost $29-39, which was also in line with or cheaper than other new titles.
C) New expansions now include one free Character Boost, a $60 game service. That started back when the cap was 90.
Used to be you also had to buy everything prior to the current expansion, but they started bundling that together as a single purchase -- and as of BfA, even that's gone. $15 a month that you'd be paying anyway grants full access to WoW+BC+Wrath+Cata+MoP+WoD+Legion content.
Existing accounts pay $65 ($15 sub + $50 BfA), new accounts pay $60 ($15 sub + $50 BfA - $5). A new account means you can't continue with existing characters, you have to start over with new ones.
Strange...the battlenet shop says you don't get a boost with the 49.99$ deal. It's on the battlenet shop you can look your self.
The 59.99$ does state that you get a boost but i think it might be a marketing tactic to get you to buy the bundle. If that is so - then blizzard needs to update their battlenet shop to say in the description that -
the 49.99$ comes with a boost.
Also yes the 59.99$ does require new accounts yes. It does say it includes a boost and game time but the 49.99$ doesn't say anything about a boost.
Any ways sorry for the confusion i am just trying to help people because i was confused as well and hoping to gather information.

The boost on the 49.99 BfA purchase is listed. (It's not in the description text like with the complete collection, but it is in the list of features below it.)
I doubt it's a marketing thing to get people to buy the bundle. I suspect that they just figure that returning players are more likely to already know about the boost, so it doesn't need as high a placement.

I use 'instant gaming' to buy my games. Been using it for a year now and it's legit. In fact I buy all my games from there, including steam games. Never had any problems.
For $65.39 you can get the base game (including all expansions up to Legion), 60 day game card, and BFA expansion.

Interesting how often the first thing people say about that service is "it's legit."
Again, the "base game" is no longer a purchase option. Regardless of where it comes from, you only pay for game time and the current expansion.

Periodically, the Customer service forum gets complaints that a key obtained from them doesn't work because it's already been used. Happens with keys sold by other outlets as well.
Making sure a bad key would be refundable by the sales outlet is more important than saving couple of bucks on the purchase. when you purchase online through blizzard, at least you know the key will be good.
Your loss not mine. Whatever.
