GAME BREAKING BUG! - Alliance [Bag of Marbles]

Zone: Goldshire
NPC Coordinates: 42.14 | 67.25
Quest: [Gold Dust Exchange]
Quest ID: 47
Item: [Bag of Marbles]
Item ID: 1191

This item reduces hit chances of any and all targets by 25% for 10 seconds. (stack-able in duration with additional people)

If saved and used during end game raid progression, This 1 item is more game breaking than using Saronite Bombs to repair the Lich King’s platform.

This item reduces all incoming raid damage by effectively 25% across the board. It affects all boss spells, abilities, & auto attacks. If the entire raid team saves this item… It becomes absurdly broken.
Granting: 25% miss rate for 10sec x 40players = 400 seconds or 6-7+ Minutes per encounter, Additionally it has an extremely short cool-down being “stack-able” via duration, thus turning any hard hitting raid fight into a complete joke!

This 1 item is crazy over powered.

What makes you think this is a bug?

So your telling me its “intended” game design that one faction saves their exclusive level 4 quest requirement and 10x limited use items to cheese any difficult raid fight encounter making high incoming damage situations reduced by 25% raid wide?

O.O? I’m sorry but blizzard wouldn’t intentionally cause this. I don’t think they can play successfully play 4D chess at the required levels to execute this. And not balance it to be available to both factions. (just take a look at all the pre-raid attunement rewards. 100% equivalent).

probably not but it doesn’t matter. Horde is meme faction for HC raiding.

I’ll trade the bag of marbles for almost any horde racial.

If someone manages to live long enough to step into Molten Core without spilling their marbles then let em have their fun.
Worrying about whats fair or not by the time a guild progresses to hardcore naxx is irrelevant, the amount of prep and coordination they will have at that point will make marbles inconsequential.

I don’t think OP knows about the Horde only items Slumber Sand and Really Sticky Glue.

Yep.

Why its a non issue in HC. This is decent money really when broke as hell in the era start.

also its assuming people even reach 60. And then raid. or care about this in droves.

NGL…the only raid run I cared about ever reported for an era was the naked Onyxia clear. Now that was interesting.

Bro you are like way way way way late on this news. Everyone knows this and no one cares.

It’s been like this forever.

It was patched decades ago in mid TBC and implemented incorrectly with the release of classic era and progression realms. It’s suppose to have a reduced effectiveness and be unusable on high level targets.
ALSO, pointing out… you’re all alliance aside, and agreeing to this would nerf your faction… Aside from the 1 orc mentioning “nets and roots” are the same thing… which neither work on raid bosses, you are unlikely willing to say “nerf the alliance” as alliance mains.

It doesn’t change the fact… that as Alliance you can obtain a near permanent 25% incoming damage reduction all players with a fight duration of 1HR+ if everyone uses 1 low level item. (yes it has charges, yes it can be exploited the crap out of with level boosts, & paid afk carries near a city/guard mob grind, bot power leveling services, and yes it can make hard hitting raid fights trivial.)

Horde is meme faction for HC raiding.
[/quote] It’s do to imbalances in the factions such as this.
Dwarf Priests give the raid “fear immunity” & along with cheeses for boss bleeds & boss poisons
Elf Druids gain fear Immunity via Dwarf priest making the tank fully functional.
Paladins have Salvation for Better raid threat.
Humans Have Legendary weapon specializations for melee.
Gnomes have boosted crit & mana pools for casters.
Classic BIS: Tank/Caster/Melee/Healer bonuses… and on top of all that they can also reduced total raid damage by 25%?

So… how is that a bug again? The item is just good. lmao

Not all Allies here. Brother Orc sure has a point.

Why you talking about TBC patches? This is classic, no future expansion changes apply.

It was implemented correctly, in its classic state.

let’s fix the petri flask exploit before we worry about the bag of marbles :expressionless:
