Soloing epics and having some kewl games. Just tonight me and a feral held down SS for most of the match while the Ashran clock ticked down and points swapped constantly, then sudden AA popped and enemy team split to scream for it, but in doing so got divided and lost precious points as half their crew was rolled.
So a win. But very close. Could have gone either way. Both sides acquitted themselves well. Heaps of fun.
Earlier in the day, /yawn fest as BSG stomped a bunch of PUGs, despite largely being crap players who never venture out solo. I topped the KB list on my rogue spamming crimson whatever non-stop.
Game A was awesome, involved a lot of close combat calls, sweaty fights and meaningful battles. Game B was just pathetic, and boring.
Not wrong, but it’s my version of PvP. Been destroying AFK for months and maybe more than months (?) and it’s been awesome fun. Discord rage recordings hilarious.
Aussie jurisdiction, no uploads. We just laugh in our own time.
Had an Ashran that we won 1-0 that was unforgettable! Games these days are very one-sided though! I don’t remember when was the last time I had such a close a game. I wish I was in that Ashran. It’s been awhile since I went for the SS since I mainly play healer, but I did enjoy the duels in the SS room. I wouldn’t “voluntarily” play Game B, but it is always fun to have a challenge, even though you know your loss is pretty much guaranteed, but there is always that 1% chance you beat a premade, and it feels good! So if I ever see a premade on the other side, challenge accepted!
They’re no longer called BSG. They renamed themselves to something else after getting absolutely destroyed by a guild called Ironsword Regiment and even changed their epic schedules to avoid them because that loss totally rattled their leader lol, despite the leader claiming to be against pug stomping and promoting premade vs premade fight.
i am in ironsword 2 and we used the orenge wire inside the cable iyk what i mean only on thurs do we pug \stomp but nobody beats war chief ln dosnt count
Well aware. They’re hell paranoid and track every member and account. And everyone’s else’s account.
Fortunately, my uncle’s mates played a lot back in day and were pretty good PvPers but have all moved on to other games (really into The Finals lately - not my thing - but the destructive enviros are pretty kewl). So, anyhoo …
I’m pretty much undetectable if wanted. Particularly enjoy being told I suck. There’s a rule not to talk about me. Frequently told not talk about me.
What do you mean by this? Like tracking who are your alts? I don’t see why anyone would do that, unless they’re jobless and have nothing better to do? Paranoid about what?
I don’t even know you, but I’m dead curious as to what you did to have that honor.
No biggy. Started a civil war back in the day telling AFK they’re a bit of a c-bomb. Um … then what happened. Oh, yeah, AFK lectures their chief recruiter and all round nice guy and that blows up.
So, it all moves on, and nobody cares - except to me, I hold a grudge and infiltrate and stir stuff and magically Civil War II happens. That was awesome. Half of BSG goes into full revolt and kicks the crap out of the other half and AFK has a full meltdown and calls them all traitors and says they’re quitting WoW and that lasts about two hours.
And flash forward. This is a bit of a longer psyop. Had to get Enema’s confidence and convince them all they’re the best thing ever, but eventually break them again. And there’s a third civil war, but it’s kinda more of a revolt where the best players leave and join some other acronym, didn’t pay much attention. And here we are.
Back in the day all you had to do to get a “PvP” guild to disband was camp them 1v7 a few times. Now you have to do all this crazy James Bond spy stuff! WoW has gotten too complicated!
Oh, definitely. But PvP’s much more fun with a villain. Even better when they’re special.
First game ever played was like BF3? Bunch of friends having fun and then this weirdo with a posse showed up and stomped us for hours and days. Would msg and harass and post vids and be all kinds of weird, like it mattered. Turns out they were some old guy who’d played '42 and all the older versions ad nauseam.
So we trained and got better and kicked their butt back. And then, job done. We quit. Moved on. There’s always better games.
Seems most of old games has some crusty crazy who treats it like a job, and they’re great. A patheticly sad PvP boss. Thank them for their service. They make it more interesting and they should thank us. Probably the only peeps who care.
