Gambling Guilds

This might be an odd question. But is this ok to do? I see people sometimes in Area-52 publicly hosting these gambling services right outside the AH. I’m not for or against it, just curious. Anyone else have them in your realms?

What’s wrong with people having fun with pixel gold? Its their gold, their choice.

Well as I said in my post I’m not for it or against. I’d just have assumed it would be something outlawed in game. I know RuneScape eventually did it.

I’ve not seen anything against it myself. It happens a lot in Stormwind.

And I don’t do it myself but I don’t care if others get a high off it. Its better than gambling rl money in casinos. Atleast its only pixel gold they’re getting a thrill out of.

Gambling is allowed, but unsupported. If you get cheated, swindled or robbed, you’re on your own.

What isn’t allowed is advertising a gambling operation. At all. Not in any public chat channels in game, and not on any of Blizzard’s forums.

Gambling in wow is not against the rules!

But any type of advertising of this is very much a big NO NO. So you can do it but you can not message anyone about it or say anything that your offering these services in anyway in game or on the forums.

I honestly find that cool people find other ways to play other then the directed path devs want you to go.
