Gambit’s timer is actually quite lenient IMO.
You should reconsider. You pull 50% of the murlocs, all doubles with 1 or less scale binders. Then wo skip straight to boss. You’re doing it the most tedious way imaginable and suffering because of it.
Here’s my route:

Here’s the log:

Bonus: It was inspiring week. You could change pull 5 by tripling up on 4 and keep it to 1, especially since you have incarn and can’t die right there. Giants are mega efficient if you can survive the 2 stack every 20s.
Edit 3: Here’s another link to the routing with the advised fixes. It’s also logged in so it won’t expire in 24 hours like the other one.

Yeah this is just bad advice lol. If you’re doing the Vyrkul packs, you are doing it wrong or you’re doing it at such a low key level that there is no such thing as doing it wrong.
The 20 that I timed had 4:35 left on the timer. You might be pulling the murlocks inefficiently or even some of the other packs later in the dungeon. Are you killing the Pulse Orb mob right when you enter the final boss area? You should skip that completely and get the count from the murlocs.
Are you killing the lightning goliaths? Those should also be skipped completely.
I’d also recommend getting a combat timer WeakAura. This way you can see how long you’ve been fighting specific pulls. Helps with knowing how long you’ll need for end bosses as well.
4:35 left on the timer…yeah…alrighty then.
I mean, I’m reading the first half of the people posting here, saying that my WO skipping route is a low key route. So I alter it to not skip at all, and now the later people posting are saying that I “should” be WO skipping, especially skipping the Vyrkul, of which I was, in my original route.
Forget it. I’ll keep trying with what almost got me it timed and pray I get bestowed some of these 30K overall dps players you guys are getting in your pugs. Of which are allowing you to have an extra 4+ minutes to play with…
Probably best to end the thread here and not waste all your time.
Good luck out there!
I think you are misunderstanding. There are multiple relic packs in the murloc zone, you clear to 50% and finish off with one of the later relics, get wo, and skip to boss.
Yea, pretty sure people were telling you not to immediately grab the Wo and back track. Not run left side +15 route.
This whole post shows how dense and offended you are lmao
Holy smokes Jhuxum still plays. It was a blast tanking SoO with you back in the day.
This post makes me sad because OP is a very wholesome guy. He may have come off badly in this thread, but he is one of the nicest people I have met. Haven’t known him for almost a decade though.
I think it was frustration coupled with misunderstanding what people were trying to explain. Particularly, when to skip.
Sorry? Not really sure what to say here…people can change? Idk lol.
May be a super wholesome person but in this scenario they are not that
You don’t have to apologize, I think people should be able to say or do whatever. He is/was just a really nice guy when I knew him, never seen him argue with a soul. Sucks that he comes to the forums and gets into a “tiff” in his first 5 posts.
That’s what the forums are though, a place where people that made this game their life react to everything with the territoriality of an animal.
That’s not really what happened. He came here posting some bad conclusions (gambit timer is too short, must have meta classes to make it) based on a faulty understanding of the dungeon and how to play it. More experienced players tried to offer some advice for how to improve his experience, and provided data and evidence to support that advice in at least one case. He ultimately rejected that all of that objective information and doubled down on his subjective opinion, which again, was shown to be flawed. Your summary of the encounter is also flawed.
