Gallywix Exploit and AOTC

I’m not sure if it’s been fixed, but there is an exploit that negates the bombs in phase one. People were talking about it in a PUG the other day.

I see a lot of people making groups and only taking AOTC players for Gallywix, but most of the time no one seems to know what the markers in the back are for, or what “baiting bombs” means. If these groups really are filled with AOTC players, I think the exploit is not a myth, and quite a few have used it.

Gurl if I can get out of the bombs on a priest then nobody has any excuse to ever get hit. It’s a non-mechanic.

arent phase 1 bombs just a tank’s job and some dodging? the bombs you gotta dunk/ditch start phase2.

getting rid of phase 1 bombs doesnt give much advantage if thats the exploit.

The bombs do put a debuff on the tank that does some mild aoe damage to everyone when it expires, but its not that big of a deal tbh

That’s not what this is about.

P1 doesn’t have “Bombs” in the sense P2 and P3 do. It has huge circles for people to get out of. Moving the range to the back of the room before they spawn reduce the amount of running everyone else has to do to get out of them. It also prevents the circles on the left getting baited too close that they cut off room for the team on the right.

No big circles, no duds, nothing but tank and spank with a swap and healing through the canisters with no movement or people running out of the stack to make it harder for healers. It’s only P1, but that’s going to make a diff. People saying it isn’t hard, and negating the mech is not a big deal have clearly never had to pug Gally.

Idk mate. To be fair im melee and all i ever have to do to deal with it is run to the opposite side. The only effort it takes is to readjust to be able to keep dpsing while the bombs are going off lol. Hardly worth exploiting to begin with but also hardly worth reporting imho

So somehow the big boxes full of assorted explosives were just removed from the fight? Interesting.

Yeah that needs fixing.
