No wonder that Shop Kodo mount is discounted!! It looks dumb as hell when you run :rage: Only looks good when its standing still, fix the running animation, it was nothing wrong with the OG kodo running animation. I hope they fix this. This qc is an attention to detail issue

I donā€™t think Iā€™ve seen a single person on the store Kodo, but I have heard comments before reading this post that the mount had some huge glaring issues with cropping and movement.

Hope it gets fixed.

Oh that is weird seeing a kodo run like that.

To be honest though, I think I do actually prefer it. Itā€™s always bothered me with standard kodos that their ā€œrunā€ is just like walking but faster. This one actually looks like itā€™s trying to emulate the run of a rhino.

Oh boy there is some bad clipping of the 3d assets though. And weird stretching of textures that are meant to represent armor plating. Iā€™d say itā€™s a good idea not particularly well executed. But I donā€™t think the running animation itself is the problem.

Itā€™s not actually a Kodo, itā€™s one of those Armoredons in bad Kodo cosplay.

TIL real rhinos running look fake af.

Anyway, Iā€™ve got a solution to the shop kodo: fit huge rocket boosters on both sides of it and turn it into a flying mount!

I got you for what they were going for - Rhino running, but no fam, way too much bounce in that running animation. The old kodo style running aesthetically looks better and gives the kodo a solid grounded look. The new running animation looks like your character should be holding on for dear life imo :man_facepalming:t5: :rofl:

I may have purchased it when I saw it was half price and came w/ the pet.

I love Kodos, even if they are handicapped and run a little funny.

Maybe they just look funny when used by anyone not Tauren.

Just like Tauren look ridiculous riding anything thatā€™s not a Kodo or elephant

I got it but have never ridin it. That is the case with about 99% of the mounts that I have.

I think most folks have their favorites. I just wish I could actively catch someone riding the store Kodo, so I could see all the things people have mentioned.

Iā€™d say that the running animation looks a little too floaty. Like the mount has no weight and just kinda hovers a little bit as it bounces. It would only take a small adjustment to it to fix that, though.
