Galakras can not be downed solo anymore in the Siege of Orgrimmar raid. Why is this still bugged after so many months of it and countless threads? This is literally ignoring your player base at this point. Very bad look.

Apparently this has been bugged since ~May 11th. Multi Billion dollar company can’t fix a simple bug for months. Gotta love it.

Can confirm, still bugged. All protodrakes downed before even firing on Galakras, both towers controlled, and every wave dealt with, yet even after 30+ direct hits to Galakras it won’t go down, and the fight drags on till one of the NPCs die and it resets.

Tried it this morning and it’s still bugged. I have only 2 pieces left for this transmog set. Very frustrating. How can they not fix something so simple in nearly half a year???

A very real likelihood (it seems to me) is that they’ve decided it’s going to be left this way for Remix the next time it comes around, and people can pick up SoO collectibles there instead of overlevel-soloing it in normal Retail.

theres also other items in there…several pets…and i know for hunters theres one that requires parts off some of the bosses so that you can craft it and tame after

But the developers would have to think that’s worth the work for them to undo the remix changes now and then have to redo them later.
We’ll see what they do.
i mean no offense to them…but its a literal number change…im not a programmer but that cannot be very hard change to make

Possibly not. But if 100% of the dev staff is committed to new content (like 11.0.5 coming out and 11.1 in development), even one line of legacy code could be impossible to change.
I’m confident the developer pool has been shrunk down to the absolute minimum, such that they barely have enough staff to deliver the new content leadership requires on schedule (even if delivered with bugs and missing features) because hitting ship date as cheaply as possible is the only thing that matters to the executive suite and, by virtue of the promises the executives make, the shareholders.
This shouldn’t have to be the recourse by the way, but I guess it should be mentioned that there are a few classes that can skip this fight
Warrior, rogue, and demon hunter can do so rather easily
And I did find a recent video of a shaman doing it with a talent…it mentions hunters possibly being able to do with disengage (nobody has tried it yet it seems)
And that video got me wondering about warlocks…and I can now say that warlocks can do it with demon gates (just did it myself - though it’s slow as you gotta wait 90 secs between gates)

google how to skip her and youll find the video how, all classes can do it if they get the spell from Shadowlands to use the teleport spell
other wise only a few classes can do it using normal spells

I don’t think you can use the Shadowlands Venthyr teleport anywhere outside of the Shadowlands.
Remix characters could just Cogwheel gem for that spell or for Heroic Leap, but AFAIK there’s no universal short-range teleport or leap available for Retail characters of every class. And there are a few desirable transmogs on Galakras, so skipping isn’t an ideal answer. Only if you want something from later bosses (like the battle pets or the robot scorpid hunter pets) and can live without Galakras’ loot table.

havent tested it so idk if it does or not I just know some classes have spells that do work without using that 1
Can we get some sort of legit skip for this if we cant shoot it down with 1 cannon? Atleast give us the option so we can press on. I dont have a Warrior, Rogue or DH to do the work around.
