How do they work? I attacked some ally there and the aggro instantly aggroed me but an ally camped me and the guards didn’t attack him. He wasnt on the dead zone he was in front of horde flight master.
I’ve seen the guy take aggro by attacking other hoardies but when he attack me nothing happen and when i attack him the guards attack me
When I was looking up steamwheedle rep info, I saw comments that the guards will only help you if your friendly or higher with them. I have no idea if that’s true or not, but if the character in question was still neutral with them, it might be an explanation.

Apparently they are trying to balance out your Ally Population Control.
It depends where you are.
The flight master is probably far enough to not draw aggro to them.
If you’re attacking them from inside or right outside the city gates you will aggro the guards but a few more yards away and you can snipe people coming or going.
