G502 Hero Logitech Mouse not working correctly

One of the side buttons to my Logitech G502 Hero Mouse is not working as intended for WOW only. I have assigned shift to this key for more freedom of gameplay and it has been working perfectly for years until today. It doesn’t do anything (in WoW) when I hold it down. This is for all of my toons across the game. When I hold it down in a Google search bar, it works as intended and capitalizes my letters. I have:

-Rebooted my Laptop
-Unplugged and plugged back-in my mouse
-Tried the exact same model mouse (brand new)
-Searched through both Google and the Logitech G Hub app

Nothing works. I’m completely stumped and can’t play the game effectively without it. Has anyone else experienced this? Any advice? I would greatly appreciate it and thank you in advance!

Have you tried a different button?
Maybe they removed the ability to assign shift to a mouse.

I use my side buttons for left and right strafe. Blizzard has broken this three times in dragon flight. It is working presently. I would check if your profile has somehow changed or a patch might of excluded warcraft somehow. Bets of luck because I have such a hard time to retrain muscle memory O,O
