Our guild downed Mekkatorque on hero this on Tuesday and I got the flash on the screen for the G.M.O.D. mount but not in guild chat and upon looting the boss there was no loot for it. It is also not in my log. I did not submit a ticket thinking that if it did not splash in guild and there was no loot it must be a bug of some sort. Is this a known bug? Maybe an addon I use splashed it somehow for some odd reason?!
i thought all boss mount drops now (outside of legacy raid loot mode) are automatically deposited into your bags instead of looting a boss corpse, do you mean you also did not receive the mount in your bags ?

Not in bags or mailbox. Hence my confusion. Basically I checked all means from past till current where it would be looted too. Basically splash screen and nothing more.
That’s a huge bummer. I’d definitely put in a ticket. Better to ask and see what you had possibly missed, even if it was nothing.
The mount just shows up in your mount list so first try searching for it. Make sure your filter settings are for both collected and no collected.
You could put in a ticket for them to check the log to see if it did in fact drop for you as a last resort.
I saw another post about this on reddit. Most likely its some troll weakaura u have thats showing you got loot when u didn’t
