It might be when you switch specs, but the Boost button (1) keeps going inactive, forcing me to go to the DRIVE garage, switch to the starter boost, get in the car, then get out and switch back to my upgraded boost. Only after taking those steps does the car recognize that I have my upgraded boost. Super annoying.

Having the same problem. Happens when I switch specs, but not every time (wtf?).
I take 13 toons through the weeklies in undermine, and nearly every one of them, multiple times per day, lose the boost button. I’m glad there’s an in game “fix” but it’s still pretty annoying to continually reroute to the shop to fix it.
