Fyr'alath, the Dream Render

I spent all last night cursing the world first guys for not killing fyrakk before we did our normal clear again

You didn’t need to do heroic

I got a question: Is this legendary a drop that will (after Mythic World First) be available in specific or all difficulties, or is it planned to be a Mythic only drop?

You had to do 25m vs 10m. I dont think heroic was a thing until end of xpac but i cant remember

Heroic was unlocked by defeating the LK on normal of that raid size

So, yea didn’t have to do the hardest content lol

Ok so fine not heroic, but 25m vs 10m.

The point is waiting the two weeks for rwf is shorter then the crap we had to do where you had to possibly never get the legendary cause of guild priorities

But bust my chops on the heroic piece

I mean yeah we all pay the same sub and should get equal say into stuff… but thats not how the world works sadly…

Especially with how much money these sponsored guilds are making blizzard with viewers and new subs, token purchases etc… they will always have an advantage over regular folks. What bothers me the most is that all of them and even big streamers have someone on the inside from blizzard on speed dial ready to fix problems for them… that shouldn’t be allowed at all…

Don’t mind if I dooo

My main issue with Fyr’alath is that it’s just named Feralas, but if you pronounced it with a lithp.

They also on average spend the gold equivalent of $150,000 dollars to pay players to join their split normal/heroic so they can all have 4 pc tier and the best gear going into mythic. Something a normal guild can not do realistic without sponsorship.

The legendary’s probably locked until mythic’s cleared just to save the world first racers from themselves. If it was already obtainable, they’d be doing everything they could to ensure that every eligible member of their raid team either had it or was as close to having it as possible every week, and if it’s RNG it could influence the race in a meaningful way because at this skill level, stuff like that actually matters. Players at 99-100% of their potential will see basically the full value of any performance increase, relative to other ‘average’ players who may see an increase, but won’t utilize it to its full potential.

According to warcraft logs one guild is at 6.5% and another guild is at 9.5%, if they don’t kill it either today or tomorrow that is a whole another week we have to wait for our 0.1% drop chance at the legendary.

Blizzard already nerfed its HP some earlier probably cause they wanted the boss killed.

So let them do it, let these creatures burn themselves out.
I see absolute zero detriment in regards to simply ignoring their existence and allowing them to hurt themselves for clout among a group of a few hundred people on the internet.

Let’s be honest, most people do not care about this race whatsoever and the money Blizzard spends on it could be better spent on things the majority of players would see some kind of benefit from.

I wouldn’t mind locking it behind the RWF if that’s actually what happened; a big celebration for the community flagging the start of the new season.

But it doesn’t start there. They played on the PTR for over a month, while we still got the Emerald Dream and warden reputation to go live and need fixes. They do splits and gear up while the RWF is going on.

I don’t approve of the setup to RWF. Not that my opinion bears all that much weight.

Having a legendary not drop for the first 2 weeks out of a 5-6 month season seems like one is the smallest issues to have with the game.

Things have worked like this since vanilla. Gates of AQ anyone?

First kill to echo it should drop now

Max’s personal stream alone cracked 90k viewers.
