Make sure to kill him before progressing too far, otherwise no known way to go back. Hope blizz sees this and adds a way to go back, really unfair to lose a unique drop because no ones killing it.
Demon unlocks are account wide!
I raised a ticket, and the GM responded that there was nothing they could do about it. Very bad game design to prevent players from obtaining this grimoire if you didn’t look it up on Wowhead before doing the quest.

Dang, wish I saw this before I completed the questline. Anyone know if we can be summoned by a friend back into it?
Some people are reporting you can phase with someone still on the questline to make the demonic gate at the Altar of Storms in the Burning Steppes appear again
I gave feedback that they should add a way back but to not avail

Hello Warlocks! We have heard your questions through the Twisting Nether and would like to make some clarifications.
While you may defeat Twinkle during the new Fractures in Time Warlock questline to receive one of your new imp customization grimoires, there is another way.
If you return to the Darkmoon Faire during normal business hours, you may find something waiting for you inside the Darkmoon Deathmatch.
We hope that this helps relieve any concerns related to permanently missing one of the grimoires.
