So I’m tanking a lower keyed RLP, easy key right? We get to Thunderhead (the lightning drake) and I start soaking the storming tornados so melee doesn’t need to worry about them. Get knocked up. Then Thunderhead casts Thunder Jaw. For non-tanks this is the ability that knocks you back. So I get knocked up by storming and I’m mid air, then Thunderjaw punts me to the other side of the instance - I didn’t make it all the way though and fell back down to where the first boss is.
Had a good laugh after that. Just thought I would share my cautionary tale.

i wouldnt even get mad at my tank if i saw that happen to them id probably just cry from laughing
Yeah, we ended up needing to take a minute or 2 to reset because we were laughing so hard in Discord at what happened. Literal tears.

Try standing on the other side next time. I nearly got punted to the last boss platform once.
In an 18 mind you, actual discord conversation at the time:
“Oh… Uh oh…”
Healer: “Uh oh, what?”
“Um…”
Lol. I saw a clip of this one time. Laughed my butt off.
If you could make the punt, it sounds like a next level gather strategy for mass AoE. MDI stratz incoming!
I’ve seen that punt them into packs of mobs too. Oops!
Good to have your back to wall/tree for that one. Not sure if the storming makes that worse, but I would think if your back is to a wall, even if it hits you while airborne probably won’t knock you anywhere.
Storming kicks you over every single wall and table nearby. The tree is rounded so you need to be pretty Pixel perfect for it to work. Best strat is to dodge storming like your life depends on it.
