It does no damage, it gives no buffs, and it can’t even tank. It’s useless. You might as well not even have a pet out.

If you’re tanking with the blueberry then you’re not very good at meta. Either Imp for survivability and threat or Sayaad for damage. There is no encounter in BFD where a Sac bubble is even close to useful compared to the other options.

Eh, you’re better off with Imp or Sayaad for lock tanking. I personally prefer Imp for more EHP as well as Fire Shield being thorns (if you dont have access to a Druid).
I love seeing other locks that are using suc instead of vw. Easy kills.

Only bad Warlocks have no idea how to use the Voidwalker. He is like any other tank, you need to let him generate some threat before going all out. There are many situations in which he amazing to use:
- If several mobs are grouped together that all aggro, send your Voidwalker in first. They all will focus their attacks on the Voidwalker. You can then kill the targets one by one.
- If you accidentally pull several mobs on yourself, his Suffering ability will taunt all the target to attack him instead. Then proceed to follow point (1) above. Never put Suffering on auto use.
- If you get yourself in a dire situation, you can use his Sacrifice ability which usually will allow you to run to safety. With Fel Domination and Master Summoner, you can easily summon another Voidwalker while Sacrifice is up.
- He is actually quite good at tanking elites if you let him land at least 3 successful Torments before going all out.
Improved Voidwalker, Master Demonologist, and Soul Link were pretty darn amazing for survivability in Hardcore.

Imp is the best for tanking due to the aura and fire shield. VW and succ are for soloing and pvp, and succ for dps if you’re not in a tank group, but the aura from imp is probably more valuable than whatever damage you get anyway.
LOL our meta lock was pulling large groups of mobs using VW and sac’ing on last mob, it all comes running to our bubbled lock tank.
Sometimes you can only see the forest.
Nah, the “oh crap!” bubble from void sac is way better. The little bit of extra max hp from Imp doesn’t really do much for you.

Sacrifice is OP. Now any warlock raiding as affliction, or dpsing in meta is a noob.
It’s a better off-tank for dealing with a group of enemies than the other options
The imp dies way to quick and runs out of mana the succubus is better
You are a COMPLETE n00b if you use the VW while tanking. Improved imp gives over 100hp to your party and does damage. The VW is completely useless. You should never need the VW sac shield. And yes, I’ve 7/7’d BFD multiple times now as a tank. Always with imp.
Don’t comment if you don’t know the class.
That’s only 500 total hp, and only 100 on each player. They would only need it if they’re almost dead, which it should never come to. VW sac is essentially a spare 513 hp for your tank. Much better utility. That’s HP that won’t only come into play right near death like imp’s benefit.
Not having figured this out won’t wipe your raid, nor stop you going 7/7. So your resume is irrelevant to the math.
