Future Quality of Life Improvements

HC started strong, but the population will probably decrease due to players dying and not wanting to “go again” after several deaths. A few future improvements to encourage more players to keep playing on the HC servers or even bring new players to the HC servers:

  • Remove dungeon lockout. I have yet to step into a dungeon. This would not affect me but help those that like to go through dungeons.
  • Increase buff duration (like paladin buffs).
  • Some buffs for poor specs like balance druids or arcane mages. A buff to tank and healing specs will encourage more people to play tanks and healers.
  • Add dual spec to encourage more people to play tanks and healers (a reminder that 1,000g is a lot to pay for dual spec).
  • Allow for greater XP gain option (some kind of XP multiplier, maybe 3x or 5x, given by an NPC as an option) until character has reached the highest level of HC character progress that the player achieved. For example, if a player has a level 50 character as their highest level character on a HC server, he/she can create an alt that can have the option to increase their XP gains on their alt until level 50. Then it is back to 1x. This also encourages creating alts.

They should leave classic alone as classic. If they start changing things it won’t be classic anymore.

But thats ok.I dont understand the people who are judging the success of hardcore on highly populated servers. We all knew the tourists would come in and then struggle, die and leave, and thats ok.

The people that play hardcore want to play hardcore. Servers could drop by half and i still wouldn’t care. People will go play SoM S2 and or go back to era and thats fine too.

Hardcore now has its place for those who want it.

These are all horrible ideas.
