Future Proofing WoW and More

Hey all,
I am building my new PC. My current one built in 2018 is starting to show it’s age.
I’d like your opinions on my projected build to last me 5+ years. Pros and Cons are welcome.

NOTE: Intel is Not an Option!

Here are my Parts in mind:

CPU: Ryzen 9 5900x
CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-D15
Motherboard: MSI MAG X570S Tomahawk Max Wifi (My very first MSI)
Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 32 GB DDR-4 3600 CL18
Storage/OS: Samsung 980 Pro 1TB M.2 NVME SSD
Video Card: EVGA GeForce RTX 3080Ti 12GB FTW Ultra Gaming LE iCX3
Case: Fractal Design Meshify 2
Power Supply: EVGA Supernova G6 850W 80+ Gold Fully Modular
OS: Windows 10 Home
Monitor: LG 34GP83A-B 34 Inch 21: 9 UltraGear Curved QHD (3440 x 1440) 1ms Nano IPS Gaming Monitor with 160Hz and G-SYNC Compatibility.

Should I add/remove/change something to make it better?

Thanks all.

I say your parts in mind are great as is. It’s actually nearly identical to my setup spec-wise, aside from some brand or model differences and RAM quantity (I use 64GB because I do a lot on my system).

So cool. ty

noice

only thing i can say is that 5800x3d might be better for wow with that 96mb l3 cache

Everything looks fine.

One nugget. Supposedly the 4000 series GPUs are going to be massive power hogs. 850 might not be enough down the line. If you don’t need an 850 watt PSU now, it might not be good enough later so you could probably skate by with a 750 today.

That said, these new PSU’s don’t exist yet. Though you might be wasting money by buying a big PSU thinking it’s future proof when it might not be.
