Fury warriors on classic

Nice! Can rogues do similar stuff with good gear? Can’t decide if I want to play warrior or rogue.

Ambush crit for 3k + backstab for 2k + coldblooded eviscerate for 2.7k. Ya, I think they can.

Fury warriors can do a truckload more damage for burst if they are 2 handed. Charge -> auto+Slam -> pop berzerker rage -> BT -> auto+WW (if an auto crit you could slam here too). Death wish increased that damage by 20%. If the first auto crit you could do the second round 30% sooner. If they aren’t in execute range by then, you weren’t going to finish them off even with MS

Yes a Death Wish Berserker Stance warrior is every casters dream, talk about being 1 shot. Maybe you can pop recklessness too to see if you can be crit for 10k+.

 The best part is that they see you coming and almost nothing they can do because you simply trinket/gnome racial their instant cc and end them.

Fury is alright but Arms is better overall.

You can make Fury work, but assuming two Warriors of equal skill and gear level, the Arms Warrior will have the edge.

Totally gear dependant, as the warrior is the most gear dependant class.

I can say DW fury with AQ+ gear is just fine in PvP, plenty of burst when you get gear. If your solo PvP then MS with a big 2 hander will always be better as you will have less up time on target.

In my premade our only warrior was fury dual wielding and had pre raid bis and yet got a lot of killing blows and killed many people. So maby fury is also good at low gear levels.

We beat other premades with 100% win rate (until people logged off) btw.

I would disagree. Total damage would be a better indicator vs KBs. Pre raid bis is lacking the hot and crit not to mention proper weapon dps. I ran it from pre raid to BWL and AQ gear. Before BWL gear it seemed slightly weak, then BWL or better it started ramping up.

Yeah killing blows shouldn’t be the only
metric for dps capability but if your topping the charts with it, it usually meant your 100-0 in a lot of people. Not a lot of these are actually from you since warriors and locks can just killing blow steal with execute and shadow burn but generally you still need to put a lot of pressure in the process.

Depends on the build and how they play. Arms warrior hits harder on MS but fury isn’t far behind with a slam or BT, plus they don’t have to sacrifice anything to get enrage. The shorter cooldown on intercept is extremely nice too along with flurry for when you do get uptime on the target. The only advantage arms has is SS, a small chance to immobilize on a hamstring, and MS which can be covered by another warrior or rogues. Fury has a shorter cooldown intercept, flurry, 10 extra rage from berserker rage, faster slams, and importantly cheaper executes.

Paladins were notorious for this as well when they got hammer or wrath.

So the main question is, if a fury warrior encounter an arms warrior on a 1v1 with equal gear, who would win?

Since I’m assuming a large proportion of the classic population would be warriors and many of them will probably pvp.

I watched a youtube guide on fury warrior pvp and he said that fury should beat arms in a 1v1

Unless RNG is not favorable fury should win

I beat many MS warriors 1v1 as 2h fury, all the way up to grand marshalls in r14 gear.
Now…add in a healbot for each and go 2v2…then your MS debuff tips the scales.
