If these two were to meet in a duel which one would win?
Monk, no competition. They should win every single time unless they’re just terrible.
Like… a mediocre windwalker should be able to 1v1 a good fury warrior.
Duels end up being rock, paper, scissors these days due to the way things are balanced out of whack.
An equally skilled fury will outperform windwalker in most other situations but not this one. They don’t really have an answer to karma/touch of death 1v1 and they can’t outrun a monk either.
Monk is pretty much going to have the upper hand in any 1v1.
Monk easily.
They have that stun move, then self heal, beat up the opponent, repeat.
Last time I saw a geared fury warrior duel a geared WW monk the monk won. This was in BfA. If monks didn’t have reverse harm PvP talent, the fury warriors would probably always win.
people are blind and always fill karma
I’ve been playing WW monk for 3 years. You should never ever lose to a fury warrior you 100% counter them. The only chance a fury warrior has is they have to kite or in most cases cc your fist of fury. The issue with this match up you can cc thier charge or port away, they have to save cc for your fist of fury, rising sun kick reduces healing the warrior receives, and after the warrior has no cc left, they are helpless to karma. Also if forgot to add monks have a no cd slow and can kite warriors easily. Edit: I do want to add a warrior is much easier to play than ww monk so ww monk could lose if the player has little experience playing them.

Touch of Death, Touch of Karma.
Take too much damage, paralyzing palm, heal self.
This scenario was at 110-119 BG
I was at 50% health, warrior was chasing me, so I let him chase till it was 1v1
Then I attack him and go wild, touch of karma, heal my self up while his health goes down
He runs when he realized I’m not an easy kill, does that leap
I chase him easily and get a kill
You can’t escape from a monk unless his speed cooldowns are used or happen to escape
I know that’s an Arms warrior but the point still stands, Monks still OP.
