Yeah, you probably want flurry… you don’t really want to be getting hit as a fury warrior though so imp BS is probably more useful.
i was gonna go mostly arms and i only have enough points to choose either enrage or imp battle shout but not both and not flurry
The cookier cutter arms spec at 60 is 31/20/0. In fury you obviously get 5/5 crit. Booming voice versus imp demo shout is personal, but most go booming because extra duration/distance is nice.
Then you pick up piercing howl, bloodcraze and 1 battleshout and finish off with 5/5 enrage. You’re certainly welcome to shift some points around to get to enrage but as arms you go 5/5 because as arms it’s assumed you’re PvPing and crits happens.

Not in PvE, but if you’re going Fury, you have to take Enrage. It’s not an option. You need Flurry. Arms Warriors take it because of PvP, in which case it’s a big consistent damage boost.
Assuming you are getting crit and therefore enraged yes because 25% extra damage is pretty hawt.
If you aren’t getting damaged it’s not doing anything for you. The assumption is an arms warrior is for pvp so you’d get great use out of it. It’s also going to be great for burst potential on kill targets.
If you’re just going to do pve world content and such as arms it’ll also be decent. If you wanted to raid or dungeon spam as arms for some reason it wouldn’t be that strong.

Are you getting crit consistently in PvE as Fury? Then Enrage is way better than Imp Battle Shout. But here’s the thing: It doesn’t matter which does more damage because you 100% absolutely have to take Enrage as a Fury Warrior. You can’t not take Flurry, and it’s a prerequisite.
Based on this, if you’re doing PvP, Enrage is just miles better.

If you’re going to be taking crits often enough that Enrage is up 30-40% of the time, then Enrage is considerably better than Improved Battle Shout, since Imp Battle Shout only provides a 25% AP bonus to the AP gained from Battle Shout, whereas Enrage increases all damage by 25%.
sooo 25% AP = not that much damage?
25% of your total AP would be considerable damage (still less than Enrage, but it would have more uptime). But that’s not what it does. It only increases the AP provided by Battle Shout by 25%, which at max rank is like an extra 58 AP.
my warrior is lvl 26 and has 1 point into imp battle shout and the AP bonus is 59??
At 26 you should be full arms. Especially after 30 when you have SS. You even said you plan to go mostly arms so start there and get into fury after 40.
No. You’re not getting that kind of bonus with one point in that talent at any level. With 5/5 points in the talent at max level, you will get about 58 points of bonus AP from Battle Shout.
I think his confusion is that at mac level you will get a BONUS of 58 AP for 5/5 improved which is tacked on to the 150 or whatever AP max rank BS gives. He is level 26 and gets a TOTAL of 59 AP.
OP I’m going to keep this simple and say 5/5 enrage is superior to improved battleshout.

ok still confused but i guess ill just stick with enrage
