Good change for Mountain Thane and Thunderblast.
Whirlwind and Onslaught feel like nothing burgers.
My initial feedback in this thread remains very relevant—regarding relative strength of talent/hero talent abilities and especially Odyn’s Fury. Bladestorm already felt weak after its Season 1 nerfs, and now it seems like it will be completely outclassed by Thunderblast after these changes.
This patch further pushes Slayer toward being non-viable as a competitive alternative to Mountain Thane in any AoE. Bladestorm was heavily nerfed in Season 1, and Odyn’s Fury has been gutted as part of Slayer’s burst with the Titan Torment change, which was the only thing keeping it competitive. Even before these changes, Slayer had extremely low pick rates in 10+ keys due to Mountain Thane’s dominance, and that gap is only going to widen with this patch.
